  • Was that soap mctavish?

  • who has a cd of people talking? (2:04)

  • @kieranpenrose

It was the Beatles. An old interview recording.

  • thats a cell phone?

  • nice homemade spy gadget

  • cool,thanks

  • its not free you have to pay for the phone bill

  • Does it actually work?

  • wow it worked omg awesome!!!!! you rock!

  • Hey its arnold jr..Aaaahahaha

    i just saw it

  • @NicaKrnKid

  • this guy sounds like arnold

  • Comment removed

  • It Doesn't work...

    i don,t understand

i do te same steps as he says

  • guy everithing you have to do is to place one phone of yours and put it on mute everithing is mute and set up the auto answering that is it.

    after that just call

  • You know, you could achieve the same idea by taping (duct tape) a phone to the bottom of the table before anyone is around, and leaving the line open. The battery will eventually die, but while it's on, you'll have a bug. Chances are, no one will check under the table in a private room. Then, while you're listening, simply press the "Mute" button, so that no sound is send from your side. :|

  • or put the phone on "Auto Answer" and Silent Mode.

  • That works, too, but there's still the problem of a dieing battery. It won't last forever. And when many older phones are on silent mode, they will still vibrate, which causes a noise when pressed against the table. lol But, you are correct, that would be a more efficient alternative

  • Yes you are right the vibrate still stays on ...plus....most, if not all, manufacturers DISABLED the ability to put phones on autoanswer and silent mode at the SAME TIME!

This was to STOP the potential illegal practice of activities such listening into peoples conversations in a room (i.e. a spy phone)!!

That is why I made this video......to show how to get around this limitation.

    Thanks

  • To fix the battery life thing, if there is a computer hooked up in the room, take an old usb cable and cut off on end of it; strip the positive and negative wires of the cable and attach them to the proper terminals on the back of your phone. plug it in to the computer and voila! If you really wanna make sure no one knows, take of the side panel of the computer and hide it in the computer.

    Thanks

  • this should have been hidden a long time ago...

  • That's a stupid simple way to tap....lol. It just depends on a ringtone which doesn't play anything and a handsfreeset so that the sounds coming from the listener room won't get heard.

It's also best to listen to the tapping with another handsfree set to minimize the tapped conversation being played over even when the tapping phone is equipped with a handsfree set.

  • HAHA! :P Nice 0ne

  • aahahah its probably one of the 1st cell phones out there

  • Nope.....circa 2004.

FYI - This is Nokia biggest seller to date!!

Their most popular business phone ever.

  • dis guy sounds like cpt mcmillan from cod4

  • Ummm... cell phones come with auto ansrew anyway.. and i could just put the ringer on silent..

  • No mate!

I tried that already....but the cell phone makers have done a sneaky thing which stops you disbaling the ringtone or even turning off the volume of the ringtone ..... when the phone is set to auto-answer!!

This was done intentionaly.........to stop people using the phone as a bugging device!!!!

  • What if i recorded a sound of nothing then converted it to a wav. file or mp3. then uploaded it to my cell phone as a ringtone.

  • What is the purpose of downloading the ring tone if the end user doesn't want the phone to ring in the first place?

Also, does anyone know how to get the blackberry's "Auto Answer" feature working without having to manually take it ouf of the holster or having to push button on the bluetooth ear piece?

  • Another solution that appears to amplify your received sound can be found on ebay.

    It's called a super-multi-adapter and it has about 9 functions. It's around $30.

Unfortunately its only listed to work with Touch Pro /Fuze model cellphones.

  • i love your accent you sound strong polish and a little danish

  • Nothing on the internet is free unless there's a catch or its illegal

  • and you dont have anything illegal on your computer eey?

  • listen to him it is Gerard Butler, THIS IS SPARTA

  • i went ther it cost money this guy is a phonney

  • you got your handsfree, bergen, and the fucking mobility troop lol

  • This isn't fake. Basically you turn off the ringer and it picks up. Nothing complex there...

  • There is a catch. People don't make free things like this just to be nice..

  • this is fake

  • It is still detectable using a CDMA/GSM spectrum analyzer. I know hardly any of us carry those around though. Another protocol or frequency is required for more stealth. Remember what "they" say: We build what we can't buy.

  • Corection.....Kiss there poor unimployed starving american asses:)))))))

  • yeah man.. ryt!

  • Gerome029, Kiss our American ass hahahahah!!!

  • most of americans are idiot

  • Well i'm not one of them you racist F*****!

  • fuck you,

  • i thinak you're one of the loser idiot americans

  • Do you usually "thinak" a lot?

  • we commit mistakes but we're not as idiot as you guys

  • A lot of mistakes it seems.

Try : "we make mistakes but we're not as dumb as you guys."

    It's okay, happens a lot.

  • Comment removed

  • yah it's probably okay if it's your third language already.

  • Oui ve

  • mabey not it didnt work

  • There now everyone can be happy

    ive solved the problem

    no more gay comments

  • son of a bitch y will u let me post this lousy comment & the previous comments but not the damn comment I actually want to type about cia. FUCK YOU YOUTUBE!

  • It might just be a coincidence. I wrote some stuff about Echelon, Menwith Hill England and Kunia Hawaii. I had to wait and then type the comment again. I highly doubt YouTube has the resources to censor our comments on the fly. If they did, we would all get together and bring their fucking web servers to their knees. :)

  • damn lousy sob cant post comment!!!!!!!!!!!

  • u lousy sob!

  • this website is full of racist craps. Stop flipping being racist or I will plant dynamite in your pants. muhahahahahaha

  • good for you...

  • excuse me, isnt that pretty fuckin racist

  • one TIP : dont put your spy phone by a TV or radio or some othere boxes, then they wil hear that anoying beep.

further its a great video, you should be rich mate :) cheers

  • Why not cut the speaker wire from the bug phone so the ringer never works. This is the purfect bug, put it in a hiden spot and if it is found its just a lost phone. A lot cheaper than a real spy bug. and you can call from any ware. use it till the battery dies and re charge it when you get the chance.

  • Thanks for your comments.

For the avoidance of doubt: The ringtone I show in this video does exactly the same as you describe (i.e. it silences the speaker when the phone rings) and it is also free.

    Thanks

  • ok thanks for the video now i understand..... all those people who say your negative are just stupid... this is actually a brilliant idea.... especially if you have a wife and your doubt your wife is sleeping with others hahahahaha... brilliant!!

  • that is an old ass fone

  • That phone is only from 2004! So it is not that old....it just looks it!

I've got older ones from the 80's.

I have one of the 1st ones ever made - such as the 'brick'.

  • guys. everone shouting FAKE is just plain dumb.

if it autoanswers, all your doing is calling it, and on loudspeaker, its picking up any sounds in that room.

its just like answering the call, going into a nother room, and then listening to the people talk.

  • this dubhe8 is dumb so dumb that he cant get this even if he wants to. you can tell he is in us army.

  • ok, it seems like sum people don't even know how this works. Here's the simple version:

Turn the phone's ringer and/or vibrate off.

    Put it on auto answer.

Put it in a room mostly out of sight.

Call the phone and listen as long as u want.

so please stop saying that this vid is stupid he did not have sum one on the other line geez. Great vid!

  • ok now i understand

  • 2004 to be exact.

It was one of Nokias biggest selling phones ever and hence the most common phone around for many years, hence my reason for using it.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • doset workkk

  • hang on whats the point of the ring tone?

why not just put it on silent and get the same effect?

  • Most phones cannot be set to silent AND have the autoanswer setting on!!

This combination was disabled by cell phone makers. (for obvious reasons - spying)

So it is not possible to set a phone to autoanswer with the silent setting on. You are FORCED to choose a ringtone and you canont turn the volume of the ringtone down!

These rules were put in place by the cell phone manufactures so that it was NOT possible to do what I showed you in the video (i.e. spy)........for obvious reasons!!

  • ah i see, although I remember a funny time when i had switched my phone to silent for a meeting then on my drive home i had my phone earphones in, and heard a hello coming from nowhere, i though i was going mad then i realised the auto answer had kicked in whilst the phone was on silent. i remember it made me think at the time how it could be used for spying. how did this happen, perhaps it was just my 1 model or a glitch maybe.

  • Hi

    Interesting!

What kind of phone have you got?

Is it an old model or a new one?

As far as I was aware this 'trick' or ability was disabled by all phone manufacturers, but maybe some didn't do it or only certain firmware allows it.

  • ah it was some time back now so i don't know for sure but maybe my xda exec or xda2i

  • i will claim bullshit on this....... i'm sorry but there is no way you can turn a cellphone into a spy phone like that.....just beacuse you have a "spy ringer" does not turn your phone into a spy phone...... do you know what it takes to build a spy phone....i built one myself in highschool.... and what it takes you cannot find in a comon cell phone.....

  • ure stupid lol, allt he ringtone is, is a silent tone so the person doesnt hear any ringing and then ure on the other line iwht a nother phone and listen to someone in another room 0.0

  • Shouldn't you be out saving the world G.I Joe?

  • dubhe8: so you think you are badass cause you called me a G.I Joe

bvdz: no, did i say or imply that, it was a lighthearted remark, in regard to your 'fucking US ARMY' reference, chill out dude

dubhe8: I've done more then you could possibly imagine..

bvdz: haha really, because imho that seems like an entirely unfounded statement....(wanker!)

dubhe8: i have been to iraq before and i am about to go again

bvdz: haha, so going to iraq is what you have done, you must be fucking proud brother.

  • What a load of bollocks mate. Do you honestly think I make this stuff up?

    wtf for???

    Jeez...some people....

  • hey dudhe8 did you try it?

I was sceptical but I at least gave it a try....and I have to admit that it worked for me.

I can call it from anywhere and I can hear everything but no one knows I called it.

Suits me perfectly as a spy phone my man So eh, what am I not getting with this?

As far as I'm concerned it does what is says so fair play to the guy.

  • can you give us a free link for god sake omg

  • I did!!

Use the WAV download and convert it to an MP3!!

Use a bit of thought man.

  • There is nothing wrong with the scottish accent so yeah. shut up or dont whatch this vid...simple as.

  • i for one like Scottish accents so shut the heck up you guys!!!!!!!!! is this video about his Scottish accent or is it about how to bug a room so shut the hell up you people who think they hate scottish accent

  • hes scottish (i think) u dicks. leave him alone

  • Thank you deadfire59.

Yep Scottish and proud of it.

  • I can't understand your Grammar.

That particular Nokia is one of the biggest selling phones in the world, ever.

Yes it is old now (2004) but it was all I had to hand at the time.

I don't use that phone, I have an iPhone.

  • what r u saiyin

  • What are you trying to spell?

  • Do I give a f##k?

    No.

  • Its not fake I can assure you.

I didn't show the cell phone when I called it from the normal phone because that would mean I would have to be in the same room as the people talking and so the voices would be picked up by my normal phone!

Therefore my demonstration would not prove that it was the cell phone picking up the voices and sending them to my normal phone.

That was why I went to another room, out of the way of the voices.

    I hope this explains.

    Thanks

  • this it sparta!

  • Just because you have to pay for incoming calls doesn't mean its not free for the rest of us who whernt insane enough to pay for every minute of our cell phone calls.

  • I love ur scottish accent

  • you have to pay for minutes and stuff...so not free

  • why not just put it on silent and auto answer??

i see no point for the ring tone...

  • i know lol thats what i was thinking

  • exactly.

that's what MOST people don't have these days.

    COMMON SENSE.

you don't have to be Agent 007 to figure that out.

  • Do i have to install the ringtone on there phones or just mine?? please reply

  • you talk like the boogie man from halloween(exept that he doesnt talk ) :P

  • Well that's my cover blown!

    I am the Boogie Man....

  • "CAPTAIN...I canny hold her much longer, I'm giving you all she's got."

"There's life Jim, .... but not as we know it."

  • I have a Razr, and just tried it to see if I could do it. I turned the ringer off, set for auto answer, and called from another phone. The only problem is I don't have a plug in headset, so I had to leave the phone open. Will have to try again when my bluetooth gets charged.

  • creative!

  • awesome! Loved the accent by the way...sounded like gerard butler:)

  • on the website how do you send it to your phone? i saved it now its a itunes file... how do you send to phone?

i have t moble with a razor v3 plzzz help and how do you get that high pitched tone that allows parents to not know your texting?

    plz help

  • If you really want your parents to not know you're texting: set your phone on vibrate... Works just as well. As for that ringtone its called the mosquito ring tone... Google it. Doesn't work that well.

  • dope but what does the spy ringtone do?

cant you just set your phone to silent??

  • yep

  • just silence the phone!!!

    \

  • isnt orange a phone company from europe?

i saw it in france once...

  • yes it is, and maybe it is exactly french

  • creepy o.o i should SO use this on my like, sister or something lol. teh-nice dude! like ur accent =D

  • The other thing that worries me, can anybody transform a cell phone into a bomb or an explosive device as a terrorist threat attempt? Have anybody done this before because if it happened, then owning a cell phone is a huge risk because it might be converted into a weapon. Please respond immediately!!!!

  • its comments like this that makes you wonder why people get shot by police over stupid shit like cellphone/wallet/toothpic/rubber ducky or anything else that can be used as a sad exuse

  • Fight HiTech with LOW TECH! FCK The FED Spies! Use Home Depot bought "Felt stick on" tabs and install on flip phone to cover mic. They are soft little stick on's for the bottom of stuff that could scratch a furnitures surface. Under glass coasters, picture frames, same thing thats under kitchen chairs just smaller. Then cover up your camera on phone. I used Electrical black tape on phone case. Drive these cocsucklers mad to figure out why their Billion dollar spy crap doesnt work!

  • you know, i saw this on a tv show called "burn notice" i found this video very interesting, and since i have nothing but free time on my hands i think i will try it out when i get the chance.

    thanks for the interesting upload.

  • dude, burn notice is exactly where i got the idea too! michael westen uses a bit more tools but same basic idea. just funny where we both saw it lol

  • that was great

  • thats a cell phone? from what year? 1864?

  • 2004

  • his voice is as annoying as hell

  • Your comments are annoying as hell.
