I dont have a problem with law inforcers I do have a few officers in my family, but on occasion they do lie, or over embellish on the truth a bit to swing sentence in their favor.
Cop says in the video that the assailant "tried to ram me" when he was clearly just running from the cops ( which the dude shouldnt even try anyways)just trying to get away there was no attempt to ram, if anything the cop tried to ram the assailant thats what that bars on the front of the cop car are for anyways.
Even the UK police publicly complained about the lack of force when dealing with rioters. No rubber bullets, no water cannons. Politicians telling police how to handle a riot? PC liberal nonsense allowed those riots to go on longer than they should have. Allowing people to burn and loot most of the city out of fear of being called "racist" is foolish.
At what point does the cop have the right to walk up and shoot someone in the head who is trying to flee? At what point does it make sense to jump on the hood of a car that's trying to flee? As far as the termination, I don't know if the officer on the hood was the original pursuing officer or not. If he killed shithead claiming his life was in danger on the hood of the moving car, then he should be fired and charged with murder. If, as some have posted, shithead had a gun in his hand, then kudos to John Wayne for disposing this piece of garbage. This could have resulted in the loss of several officers. Shame on the pursuing officer for his actions.
Once the officer broadcasted that a vehicle tried to ram him, it sends an inaccurate message to other officers that the subject tried to kill or injure the pursuing officer with his car. This was NOT the case here. So now the situation has escalated from a traffic offense to an alleged assault on a police officer and fleeing and eluding. Every cop involved in that pursuit wanted a piece of shithead's ass for what they believed was an assault on one of their brothers. AGAIN, this was not the case

The officer that initiated this pursuit should be fired for putting the lives of fellow officers and the general public at risk. There was no attempt by shithead to ram the officer. What did this driver expect to happen? He nearly hits a cop with his car then proceeds to endanger everyone else on the road for his OWN fear and benefit of getting caught... Then he doesnt listen to any cops telling him what to do and probably violated every traffic law in existence..

He had justification to ram the driver at 1:14, he was in a perfect position to end the chase at that time but he hesitated. But decisions like that are hard to make when you just had a major Adrenelin dump in your system and start to suffer the tunnel vision effects, time and space disorientation etc.. As far as the termination, I don't know if the officer on the hood was the original pursuing officer or not. If he killed shithead claiming his life was in danger on the hood of the moving car, then he should be fired and charged with murder. If, as some have posted, shithead had a gun in his hand, then kudos to John Wayne for disposing this piece of garbage. This could have resulted in the loss of several officers. Shame on the pursuing officer for his actions.

Once the officer broadcasted that a vehicle tried to ram him, it sends an inaccurate message to other officers that the subject tried to kill or injure the pursuing officer with his car. This was NOT the case here. So now the situation has escalated from a traffic offense to an alleged assault on a police officer and fleeing and eluding. Every cop involved in that pursuit wanted a piece of shithead's ass for what they believed was an assault on one of their brothers. AGAIN, this was not the case

I've been a police officer for 20 years and have seen this scenario played out time and time again. The officer that initiated this pursuit should be fired for putting the lives of fellow officers and the general public at risk. There was no attempt by shithead to ram the officer. If you watch the first few seconds of this debacle closely, you'll see the front tires of shithead's car CLEARLY turn away from the officer's car, in what is CLEARLY an attempt to evade and flee, NOT ram.

He had justification to ram the driver at 1:14, he was in a perfect position to end the chase at that time but he hesitated. But decisions like that are hard to make when you just had a major Adrenelin dump in your system and start to suffer the tunnel vision effects, time and space disorientation etc.. Thankfully no one pulled out in front of that idiot or it would have been multiple fatalities. 100% justifiable as i saw it. The officer did a great job calling out his speeds etc in the pursuit

Its pretty simple, if you see sirens in the U.S. you pull over. If it is you that the police want to talk to, they will pull over behind you. A siren in English is a loud noise maker. Its just what we call the noise and flashing lights on the tops of police vehicles and ambulances. The guy in this video was a danger to himself, the officers and everyone else on the road. he has no regard for his life or others. He needed to be stopped and the officers did just that.
