Wow! goodmusic70. Thanks for a really great addition, one that brings back many old memories, especially while growing up and hearing Mac sing that song on the Wheeling Jamboree on WWVA. The station may have faded in and out during those times, but this song and many more by Mac are real classics. Thanks for sharing. Having had the chance to hear Mac and George sing together is a real treat. For George is indeed one who has added much to country music over the years. Kudos to you!!

Mac has a terrific voice and the song renditions can't be beat. What an amazing career- check him out on wiki. Bluegrass, gospel, country, and pop Mac makes it seem so easy.

Wow - I knew I would cry when I saw this song by Mac was posted here. What a wonderful terrific voice Mac has. He makes his songs sound better than they started out to be I do believe. I have always loved this song - my twin sis and I sang it years ago when we sang professionally in our region. As Mac's signature song he puts so much heart and soul into it. What a beautiful song that says it all. Thank you for sharing this. - Paula
