this movies got a few land mark sceens wrong. the sceen when the empire state building is being destoryed hollywood is wrong. the building dosent have any street that goes directly towards it 5th ave and 34th street go along side of the building. i still love this movie but that part is wrong native new yorker here

I was watching this movie last night and noticed something very peculiar. When Jeff Goldblum was looking at his computer to see how much time until the aliens attacked and the buildings were destroyed (you know kind of like the twin towers in real life), the screen read 9 minutes, 11`seconds. Coincidence?

Yes I have, and many other videos on 911, and the official story is clearly BS. Another coincidence just last week is when I looked on Alex Jones website, he had an article on 911 symbolism in pre-911 Hollywood movies. Didn't mention Independence Day though.

You call 911 when something bad happens. 9/11/2001 was planned by Osama and his terrorist buddies to happen on 9/11..thousands of innocent lives would be taken therefore it would be a bad day for all americans. Coincidence? They used it in the movie to as a kind of an "oh no, 911". I see 911 in movies all the time, it has nothing to do with the terrorist attacks.

I just saw a 1960's episode of the cartoon Superman and it made me wonder if Independence Day the movie got the idea from the cartoon. Aliens obducted Louis Lane and Jimmy, this large robot was indestructable so superman had to find it's "weak spot" where it would shoot it's fire out of, much like the space ship in the movie, Louis then said "this is just like Independence day for us".
