  • The best Dvorak's symphony... Sadly it isn't played very often than the 8th or 9th :(

  • YES I FINALLY FOUND YOU FINALLY!!!!!!!!1111

  • Found it at last, after 50 years! This was used as the theme tune for the BBC radio production of Nicholas Nickleby when I used to listen to it in bed in the dark as a boy!

    Atmospheric doesn't even approach it!

  • there's nothing like playing along to a piece like this. except maybe playing it with an orchestra. which is sooooo much fun

  • Bravo Daniel Raiskin!

  • Enjoyable to listen.

  • Wonderful interpretation.

  • im lost

  • The best symphony in the world.

  • movimiento espectacular.....muy elegante, sublime, contagioso....bravo dvorak......bravo......chip chip urra..

  • my favorite orchestra piece...

    just awesome

  • One of the best Scherzos that I have heard :)

  • despite Dvorak's efforts to make an abstract symphony to set a difference from the previous ones, nevertheless some czech airs and melodies are heard in this 3rd movement scherzo, although in the other 3 he accomplished his objective in a great proportion

  • exquisite piece of music (the entire symphony) - and to think that its composer described himself as a simple country musician

  • I listened this live from Istanbul Symphonic Orchestra yesterday, and I found this post on youtube as soon as I reach home. Really great, never boring, I love it more as I listen again and again...

  • I'm actually able to play this piece and I think it was interpreted a bit too fast..

They made a few errors cause of that.

(By the way, sorry for my englaish, I'm french ;) )

  • Definitely this is my favorite symphony. For me there is none in the world compare to it.

  • @quirovivallo there is the NINE compare to this

  • @vobbertoMD

Both are works of genius. :)

  • That was OK, but the conductor seemed bored, and that can make or break a piece. I'm no conducting expert, but I don't think the conductor can just slack off until the end of the movement (unless, of course, Dvorak intended for the music to have that kind of unimpressive, slacking off character, which I doubt).

  • very bad interpretation. this movement isnt boring actually...

  • I don't what the hell you're talking about, but it wasn't boring at all.

  • thanks a lot for putting this on! i love it, it's soooo great and i am so into it!

    thanks again!

  • A listend the pice abotu 20 times. I think i am becoming addicted!!! I also herd this pice live played by the National Radio Orchestra from Bucharest

  • It's an extraordinary piece! The best from all the symphony!

  • Great! I heard the OSQ (Quebec symphonic orchestra)

    played that symphony.
