@pachinko1972 For a good portion of the first 2 seasons, and a sliver of the third, Transformers was animated in Japan. The show, scripts and all were conceived on the USA side. Takara (who provided Hasbro with the lion's share of Transformers figures) didn't actually release Transformers proper until 1985, a year after Hasbro did in the USA. When the animated show was shown in Japan, until the Headmasters, they were all re-dubbed versions of the US show.
WTF soundwave transformed into a tapedeck then flew away,this was a really good episode,good to see abit more of Menasor,although I havta say hes quite badly drawn,cool voice and sword though.
I can totally imagine the Optimus Prime/Motormaster crash at 2:33 as a movie scene. Complete with a slow-motion impact, debris flying everywhere, Motormaster's tractor rippling and deforming, and a huge-ass explosion!

You can look for the Transformers G1 Season 2 Episode, "Masquerade".... This is the Japanese broadcast of that episode.

It doesn't have an English version.
If it is necessary to borrow the animation that others are up-loading to make an English version, it is serious and difficult to look for.
