Mrs. Pingree is perhaps the scariest form of politician out there. Her devotion to delusion in the face of facts is truly startling. Also frankly I'm surprised she is so unapologetic about demonizing industry. Furthermore, she seems to be a first rate dimwit who is guided solely by some unholy lust for power. When compared to Sen. Collins and Snowe, she is little more than a sideshow. I don't know why she goes on national tv, because even benevolent hosts make her look like a complete fool.
Demonize the car companies, take them over, demonize the banks, take them over, demonize insurance companies, take them over, demonize health care providers, take them over.
Pingree is on the march toward socialist utopia.
Here come the brown shirts, oops I mean Acorn.
"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people there is liberty." (Thomas Jefferson)
Why would Pingree ignore the CBO saying this will bankrupt us further? New global currency?
Sir, It seems that to mention the name Jefferson or say Locke, to Mrs. Pingree would be followed by a deer in headlights stare (as can be seen in the video). The ideas of personal property, freedom from government intrusion, or sound fiscal policy seem to be what Pingree fights against. I'm not sure what her "education" consisted of, but from seeing her confused, manic manner on this show, I'd say it had more to do with "extra curriculars" while listening to Dylan and talking Marx. COA...
I agree, she looks like she has that zombie stare of the mindless fools who put their faith in big government. "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have". Thomas Jefferson
If you want a good laugh, search for the song parody "The Government Can" here on Youtube. We are under attack from every angle by these rogue politicians. A good laugh is in order from time to time!
We need to step up our game and turn up the heat. In the comment section of my profile you will find several petitions you can sign in order to get you started as well as several other resources and lots of information regarding health care reform. Together we can do this.
