I think these ''fake babies'' are the absolute BEST thing.....I had my son at age 22, and although i adore him, [he is grown up now] it would have been better had I waited...altho I couldn't have wished for a better son, it WAS hard work, and the younger women who have babies...they REALLY miss out on fun. These fake babies do give an accurate idea of the total commitment a child needs;)

They are a nice concept but didn't help my sister much, she locked her virtual baby in the trunk of her car and went to the lake for the weekend.. since she has had 5 kids, and lost custody of all of them but 2. p.s. she failed the class.

I just gave my Reality Works Baby (we did it with our youth club, not school) today. We had it for 2 nights and it really irritated me!! First night it woke up twice at 3am and 5am and last night t woke up at 1am. I agree with you, teens shld have this baby for a few nights, its a good experience :)

yeah, I took that doll home last month for Food Fitness and Parenting class. It was an um...experience...espcially since I'm a guy who has never cared for a baby or even a doll before. I failed the first time but got a 86 the second time. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

If they get sick there diapers can be bad and they may get bad nappy rashes, cry alot and need medications to help them etc. If you can't afford disposables you have to resort to cloth that takes up lots of time and cleaning.

Your body needs to adjust to a babies individual needs, If you have a ceaser it takes time to recover. heres learning to breastfeeed baby correctly or making up formulas, a chip won't send baby to sleep again if they have gas, a messy diaper needing wipes and creams amd need a whole bottle or a bath or rocking to calm them or just have a constant need to be held alot and moving about.

I would say just stay calm and keep in mind that its not a real baby so dont get too stressed about doing somthing wrong. If the results come back and they're not so good dont take it too personaly i dont think its a true reflection of how you would respond to a real baby.
