  • 0:31 was that a fart?

  • This is secret KGB infiltration trying to weaken our economy with outdated Milton Friedman bullshit designed to profit the elites and destroy our country. Damn elite conservative media!

  • @HoGraz Actually all the elites are liberals/left of center and all the mainstream media is a propaganda for status quo economics, which is the opposite of Milton Friedman (but really Friedrich von Hayek, Ludwig von Mises) and is pushing for more Keynesian economics..so I don't know where you get your facts from or on what planet you live in

  • @mowgly3000 I was being silly. Most liberals are elites cause they realize the system is totally fucked and don't fall for the religion card that most people in the country do with the Republican party. Hayek actually has ideology that is more in tune with conservatives because he thinks the public sector is sloppy and slow. Most countries realize that private benefits from public and vis versa. Not having a public sector means monoplolies can thrive through buyouts on things like R&D. Shithead.

  • @HoGraz The public sector IS a monopoly, so of course it's sloppy and slow. It forcibly takes everyone's money to pay for things they never signed up for. If you don't pay, you'll get a court date. If you don't show, you'll be kidnapped. If you try to defend yourself, you will be killed. The VAST and blatant immorality of a central government far outweighs all the unlikely evil corporations that can only exist through regulations passed by bought-out politicians.

  • @jeffsandychelsea That's very short sighted to say. Everything you said could be applied to the opposite argument. Have you ever been to West Virginia? The EPA was bought out by the coal mining companies. Go anywhere in the country and Wal-Mart has probably gotten tax allowances by bullying or buying out politicians. That's why public education is so shotty in those areas. Texas companies can opt out of worker's compensation so they have people living off of disability with one arm.

  • @HoGraz Also state's rights is another way for these guys to pit states against each other like they did with the Mid West and the South. It's a race to the bottom. Once they get there we won't see any local government and have no control over our own education because it will be brainwashing camps paid through grants by Koch Industries etc.

  • @HoGraz Again, EPA is government. Politicians are government. Disability is government. Public education is government. It's all government. A central state gives corporations the tools to gain power over a market that would be simply impossible otherwise.

  • @jeffsandychelsea Hello we have a government for a reason. That doesn't work. The government is not inherrently evil. Are preachers government too? They bought them out too.

  • @HoGraz Everything done by government could be done much better at a lower price by private companies. Government is not inherently evil, just immoral. Its creators may have the best intentions, but the fact that it forcibly takes money through taxation, and can easily by bought out and modified by anyone with money makes it a joke of a system.

  • @jeffsandychelsea I mean making sure old people who worked lower end jobs have to work for the remainder of life because privatized retirement doesn't cut it is quite immoral. Who's there to say that private education will be affordable for the lower class? Seems like you have to get in the right school by having the right amount of dollars in order to get in.

Plus this garbage about "forcibly taking people's money" is totally ignoring reality. Give it a rest man. Before we had a federal income

  • @HoGraz tax the upper class controlled everyone's life. Plus before having public education people didn't have education so they had no way of making a life for themselves. Only the rich were educated cause they could control everyone while they lived in the dark. Not having that outweighs the amount of violence. Even during the biggest periods of taxation in America we had the biggest push towards the Middle Class because taxation gives a chance for others to get an education, a truly

  • @HoGraz liberating idea.

  • @HoGraz Plus come to Tennessee Jeff. You'll see some joke of legislation put forth by the conservatives. We have all this obstructive legislation put forth like "Don't Say Gay" or "Guns in Bars" because they want to filibuster the legislative system and media. We got the Tenn. Titans because Texas wouldn't subsidize them with the tax dollars that was designated to go to things like inner city children's tutoring, schools, or public infrastructure. Public infrastructure, that's an idea.

  • @HoGraz How the hell did the rail roads get done. It was totally subsized and the interstate system was publicly done. The conservatives have made sure they are all a D-Rating. That's a joke. We've had two major bridges fall recently in the States. Listen. Fix the education system from the ground up by raising standards on education licenses, quit defunding it to make it appear a joke, abolish corporate personhood, bring our boys home, and reduce the tax burden by eliminating some agencies.

  • @HoGraz Why should others be forced at gunpoint (I'm not going to let go of the immorality of THEFT) to take care of others? What ever happened to parents being taken care of by their children? Or charities? Surely, you and I are far from the only ones worried about educating the poor and taking care of the old. Charity is far more efficient (and voluntary) than government could ever hope to be.

  • @jeffsandychelsea We have to work within the system we got. You guys don't give a damn about us nor fixing the system. That's a given. Why do people have to forced at gunpoint for things like interrogation at airports by TSA, losing their homes, using their freedom of speech at demonstrations? Answer me that. While you're at it think of the rights that have been taken away from us because we have a terribly uneducated populus because no one cares about anything but taxes.

  • @jeffsandychelsea Shutup with that charity crap dude. Now you're going off of a CATO institute script. The reason they want that is because people will go to a church in times of desperation and become a conservative from then on. I've worked at a Dollar General before man and I can tell you that EBT works much better than charity any day. Also formerly poor people are the only ones to donate to charity so you can see where their focus is. What we've got is a bigger problem then any of the

  • @HoGraz miniscule terds you've brought up. We're talking a destruction and restructure of the world we live in by covert means. They've done the voting for us for 30 years. Destroying education is a way to steal people's sons into war. I know because I almost got drafted during Bush's two terms where we had state sponsored tv programming with the terror alerts.Trust me dude. Drop that neocon, libertarian free market shit and read about civilizations. We're going from quasi democracy back to

  • @HoGraz feudalism, not socialism. It's like Marxism in reverse. Plus don't you know that you guys already won? What's there to bicker about? Hell it's only going to be worse with half the people talkign like you on the net beign paid by Young Americans for Liberty. Don't respect authority. That's the number one piece of advice I have for you.

  • @HoGraz So you're saying that absolutely none of the poor or old will be taken care of unless a huge and violent monopoly forces us to, and takes half of our money to do it? Is it worth the cost of wars and collapsing economies? Wouldn't there be churches to help people in an anarchic society? Of course there would be. And stores could donate a percentage of profits to a local charity for positive rep. Also you're assuming that government actually gets more people out of poverty than it puts in.

  • @jeffsandychelsea Again enough with the rherotic my man. It's not violent when you consider the alternative. The corporations that people work for are a governmental structure that decides on retirement for you. If that's not violent I don't know what. See that only helps corporate owners and the like. That's the reason behind this push. It has nothing to do with rights or what would seem nice.

  • Comment removed

  • @HoGraz Exactly, government allows, in fact, creates these corporations. It always does. It is unavoidable. Like it or not, taxation is violent. If you don't pay, you'll get a court date. If you don't show, you'll be kidnapped. If you defend yourself, you will be killed. Taxation is a death threat; there is no avoiding it. Corporations are not death threats, even if they're just a shade better than outright violence.

  • @jeffsandychelsea Dude no. Don't turn this around. The whole premise of this is insane. Taxes and regulations are a neccesary evil. Schools come out of taxes. You know we can't do away with them entirely. Also the BostonTea Party was due to the fact that Americans were being taxed on top of a war that they paid their lives for. Had we not had the Progressive Era we would have been worse off entirely. Now wether we're talking Anti-Imperialist Progressive or not is the question.

  • @HoGraz There just aren't enough choices and the bull is too thick whilst people are too ignorant. This whole notion of "Well let's just hyperfocus on taxes and demonizing the government whilst forgetting history" is total garbage. The last thing we need is another right wing revolution. We need real change from the ground up not more redistricting and enclosure. You still have yet to enlighten me on this notion that we're going to be all richer without government. See I understand the concept

  • @HoGraz of Bread and Circuses.

  • @HoGraz Taxes and regulations are entirely unnecessary. Schools can be privatized with far better results and lower costs than government. And you already agree that taxes and regulations are evil. We're done.

  • @jeffsandychelsea No we're not. You make the most outrageously biased claimed. You also twist my words. Neccessary evil means it's still needed. It's kinda like I believe people can be good and evil at the same time while you think all or nothing. Where do you think eduation funds will come from? Do you want an apprenticeship system or a work to learn program? You sound like you think things like clean water came out of shear wealth and not government intervention.

  • God. The Russians are more sympathetic to capitalism than us. It's disgusting.

  • @capitalist4life No, they don't. They just laughing at us, it's similarl when AlJazeera shows human rights violations by Israelis or something. It's not because Qatar have more or even nowhere near the human rights of Israel, it's their way of saying "Ha ha, look at this muslims viewers, those guys are not as great as they say they are"...otherwise everything Tim Carney says is true, Obama is pushing fascism-style economics (Big Government regulated big business), but so is Putin/Medvyedev

  • @mowgly3000 Yes, I agree. The US is still more economically free than Russia.

  • @capitalist4life it's that...but also we (still) can change our administrations every 2 years for House & Senate and 4 years for Presidents, the Russians can't..they are pretty much stuck with 1-party Nationalists, many of whom are defectors of KGB & old-school commies turn free-market economy friendly (but not too friendly) Russian nationalists. Their economy is nothing more than extracting natural resources & selling them to trully productive economies elsewhere, which is a terrible system

  • Umm, the video description is off. The government isn't interfering in the economy, rather, the titans of the economy are interfering in the government. Fascism, not communism.

  • screw the rich..

    empower the uber rich

    throw change at poor

hopefully the poor stay UNINFORMED & STUPID and keep voting us in

  • Isn't it silly that as an American I have to get my REAL news from RT? Thank you RT.

  • EndTheFedRes - I experienced the same sentiment while watching this video from the Russian TImes, critiquing America for not following free market principles. I grew up during the Cold War, and coming from that background see a tremendous irony in this state of affairs.

  • okay, why in the hell is Russia all in America's business anyway?

They need to be more concerned with their own pockets while they have their hand in ours.

  • don't worry about Russia it has enough resources for whole world. But the problem is USA, when in chrisis attacking one after another nation in search for free resources.

  • Karl Marx and Lenin predicted this a long time ago. Corporate Facism is here. ... .

  • Hey, what about we all be the government?

  • Well, deifinetly troops abroad could be reduced to next to none... if that's what you mean by gov reduction, sure. :)

  • just look where the candidate funding and PR come from... that is who government represents, because the tyranical private imperialist entities got way too much power already. Legislation on the corporation was forced on govt by that power, so was the Federal Reserve Act. Making govt smaller, and simply shrinking from the necesity of democracy and justice won't improve matters.

  • "US isn't letting the free-market work"

Correction: "the free market doesn't work".

  • Sectors and industries can be favored through government contracts and subsidies (eg. all the no bid contracts), AND through other means... such as being favored by private banking institutions such as the FED or ECB and it's member banks, or by other industries who share illegitimate interests, or through judicial corruption. Govt is now the representative of the corporations and the plutocrat monopoly. They already have private milicia such as dyncorp, Xe. Make govt by and for the People.

  • America has been hijacked by the offshore banking cartel (The One World Order) power crazed elite. These satanists want nothing less than total domination of the planet. They came from hell and thats where they belong.

  • Good guest. A free market is needed. No more federal programs, including war programs.

  • US is a main problem of the Earth.

Americans are bacterias. "Democracy" is virus.

  • The whole reason unemployment is down, number of people laid off is because of the bailout. More money in 2nd bailout should be spent on Mass Transit projects, Road and Bridge repairs, city infrastructure repairs.

  • Viva Las Bailout!

  • true that!

  • "Thanks so much for joining me."

    Corporations + government = fascism!

  • make drugs and nonviolent crime legal! thatll fix your damn recession

  • So legalizing men having sex with little boys will fix our recession?

  • Guess, a big bankster would easily create new little boy derivatives to sell them on the bonds market...huge profits...it'll be the little boy bubble of 2010...

    Everything's possible these days, methinks...

  • sex abuse is considered a violent crime. besides that NAMBLAs fight.

  • How about crimes like forgery or passing bad checks. No prosecution? No jail time? In your world, Bernard Madoff walks.

  • of course contracts need to be enforced. I am talking about legalizing victimless crimes. you seem to just want to argue.

  • There are no victimless crimes.

  • j walking is a victimless crime

  • Not exactly. You can get killed crossing the street illegally and then your loved ones were victimized by your careless violation of the law. See, laws exist for a reason. Do you think Jay walking should be legalized?

  • yes. the walker knew the risks just as a climber is aware that he could fall. and the dealer that knows he could get shot.

  • Jay walking is not a victimless crime. It is a crime precisely because it engenders chaos in the streets and because it is dangerous. It is not victimless because many hundreds of persons die needlessly each year because of jay walking and those victims of their own carelessness leave behind them thousands of other victims--their family and friends. Obviously, you're looking for simple answers to complex questions and there aren't any.

  • you are making complex answers for simple questions. and our path splits here.

  • @Jicim

what about the unforeseen consequence of getting run over and having someone else to pay for the clean up on the road?

  • im talking about getting ticketed for successfully j walking across the road. not damage to life or property.

  • @Jicim

well in that sense, i guess it works out for everyone. I don't agree that police should fine people Jwalk either. As the laws of nature goes, the unsuccessful ones would just get run over, what would be greater penalty than that?

  • build infrucstructure banks will take care of themselves. if we go electic we will leave all others in the stoneage!!!electric cars ,nuclear powerplants, more windmills ,wave power, solar farms, electric army navy ambulance and police!!! give money to improve the country not so the rich can stuff their pockets for nothing in return...even my 4 year old knows thats stupid!!!

  • This is Sad but True, we have a Narcissist running the country now. Thanks for bringing up "New Businesses"

  • End the Fed.

  • obama is a puppet for the NWO. he has been exposed and his scams are being exposed. he will be very lucky if he only gets deported back to his homeland kenya, high treason carries a high penalty in god's country.

  • @rednxrule LOL...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • who the hell farted?

  • The Bankers Own Obama. The Bankers are draining our National Treasury Dry to finance their plan for a New World Order.

They will be taxing us until we have nothing left. Did you hear about the proposed War Tax & Climate Scam Tax? They are devaluing our money; Groceries, Utilities & Oil are costing us more & More each Day. When we are completely broke, we will accept any solution they offer us.

  • funny how the Russians have to say this to us, our MSM wont say this

  • This is such nonsense, how can such a free market work? When corporations monopolise many sectors, through their common interests of profit maximization.

RT could, and seemed to, be of higher quality.

  • Ron Paul is right about closing the Fed and auditing it. The proposed solution, however, is flawed. It's gonna put the power of emission and credit back in the hands of the same private banks basically. What will that solve???

A better solution: monetary reform act, and a mixed market.

  • Without any state regulation the "monopoly" would be nothing.

You don't seem to understand what a free market is or how it works.

  • The problem is that you have taken the subjective opinion of others as fact, which is understandable as they often also make very good points along with their erroneous ones... and nobody is perfect, we can all be wrong or mistaken at times... So it is always good to hold hypothesis in doubt.

Now, to establish itself, the plutocrat monopoly did not need regulation. It set up as frqactional reserve banking, developing into autonom, ous central banks, corporate banking, IMF, etc.. is it not so?

  • moral hazard???

Why not just call itt FRAUD!!?? Thats what it is!

  • ECHOS OF RON PAUL!!!

  • Take all that money that we spend on weapons and defence each year, and instead spend it feeding, clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, for ever, in peace.

  • The poor choose to be so directly or indirectly because of their choices. Throwing free money at them is only going to make them more lazy and complacent, and they will only expect more free handouts.

That's called Communism, which is nice in theory, but fails in reality.

They will drain those who work till we become slaves to their laziness. And no one will ever make it to space, or anywhere where else for that matter.

You cannot give people passion, they must want it themselves!

  • That's a really moronic view of why people are poor.

  • Since when is truth moronic? Callous maybe. But I'd rather be a jerk then a slave to good intentions.

And the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

  • Fuck feeding and educating the poor of the world.

We need to focus on issues at home for the next 100 years and abandon the world and see how they feel about Americans without American money and support.

  • every 40 seconds a child dies over famine. this kind of arrogant and ignorant humanity does not have 100 years ahead.

mind also, we were conditioned in certain way - with the lack of compassion and empathy. do u really think it's better to produce weapons then food and education?

(not fastfood and not miseducation we have today)

  • I think it's better to produce a mix of everything, because the second you leave yourself open for war people are going to take advantage of you.

Plus, I have no problem with money taken from the defense budget and put into other means WITHIN our own borders.

    No where else.

  • every war starts just from the very lack of compassion/empathy i'm talking about. we need to change collective consciousness of humanity as everything starts within our sick ego. remember what Gandhi did?

  • Change like that will take centuries.

YOU personally don't get along with everyone. Well neither does anyone else.

It isn't just a lack of compassion and empathy... You can't boil it down to that.

  • Gandhi was also a hypocrite. Let's not forget that. He refused to let his wife get 'western' medical treatment for an illness she then died from. Then later when he gets ill, he goes to doctors and gets 'western' medicine, and continues living.

  • No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money, a choice, right now, between fear and love (c) Bill Hicks

  • We have to spend all that money nuking the moon, apparently...
