Ok, I have another solution. I have an arm band for the iphone, I'm going to mount that to the chin guard of the helmet and take some videos from that. I'll try that out on the Bigbend ride in February. I'll post up once I have the video.
I wonder if they make one that is designed for a jacket? I rigged one up to my jacket which kills the vibration. There should be a jacket that has a iphone camera mount near your chest area.
@Pamberjack I get the same issue mounting my Droid on my bike. I've tried rubber washers, but I think it maybe a persistant issue with all cellphone cams.
Jabajaneblow - thanks for the upload, saved me two migraines (one mounting it, and another finding out the video isn't crisp on the iPhone also.
