It doesn't matter if your Khmer is broken or very good. All that it matters is that you know your Native Tongue and will never forget it. A lot of Cambodian Americans are loosing their Native Tongue and I know a lot who can't even have a full out conversation in Cambodian.

I am absolutely impressed. It's about time that we close that gap between the old & young Cambodian generation. I've never listened to Khmer music (besides @ a Khmer wedding) until a friend of mine posted your video @ the WRC singing "Bopha Chiangmai" on Facebook. I listened to the song and it literally brought tears to my eyes. It was so beautifully sung. Im sure its not the first you hear this, but you need to work on your pronounciation. Im not hating on you in anyway, but only giving constructive criticism. Your voice isn't bad and its good that u know how to play guitar and all, but to be a good singer in a specific language, I think one would have to really need to sound fluent in that language. Otherwise it will sound really annoying. It's just like singing in English, but if u sound like a FOB, wouldn't it bother u? Well it goes both ways.

I said it too many times in her videos that she blocked me from all her videos. I can't even comment in her videos anymore even positive ones.

i don't know if u came across or even heard of ice box band but the vocalist is white female who sang similar style but with accent in khmer. its still good though.
