  • whys there lines

  • @SSX12345ify In the intro/cutscenes? It was quite common in DOS games to add black lines in the videos to increase the resolution (interlacing).

  • @zirkoni88 call me stupid but what is DOS

  • @SSX12345ify MS-DOS = Microsoft Disk Operating System

Probably the most common operating system that was used before Windows.

  • I remember running this game w/ my first ever 3DFX. VOODOO 4MB ACCELORATOR... hehe

  • i cant find the openglid.ini

  • @alex199854 Do you use Gulikoza's DOSBox to run the game? You have to start dosbox.exe once, it creates the file.

  • @zirkoni88 i tried everything but i cant play it in fullscreenmode :( im getting an error: "Servere Problem: OpenGL GL_EXT_abgr extension is required or OpenGlide!"

    im using dosbox 0.74

  • @alex199854 Are you running Windows? If yes, then download the latest version of pre-compiled gulikoza's DOSBox from his website and use it to run the game.

If you are running Linux, Mac or something else then I don't think I can help.

  • @zirkoni88 sure windows, i dont really want to download some of this stuff... the game works, but only in a window.

  • I could pass the file please?

  • @carlitoshacker You could pass the file? What???

If you're asking if I could give you the game then the answer is no. It's sold by Amazon, buy it.

  • does it also works on a voodoo 2 ?

  • @3dfxLover What? You mean can TR1 3Dfx be run on a real Voodoo 2 card? I don't really know, I used gulikoza's DOSBox (kind of like a Glide wrapper) not any real hardware.

  • @zirkoni88 It tested it ... it works on voodoo 2

  • I played a demo of this game as a kid. I always wanted it but couldn`t find the game.

I didn`t had the internet at the time and I was pretty limited with what I have.

  • damn this is good for DOS lol

  • @kingdomeyes You mean the graphics? Yes, the 3Dfx graphics look quite good, definitely much better than the SVGA version.
