  • Loved this game, although I always felt it was lacking in the military department.

  • Actually, not slaves. The labour used to build the Pyramids were farmers during the innundation period. We even have stone tablets, effectively receipts, showing that laborers on the pyramids were paid 2 gallons of Beer a day.

  • Makes me angry how there will never be another good game like this because of the game industry. The last time they was about to bring out an epic educational game they dumbed it down 10 fold for the casual gamers who also found it a piece of shit (spore).

  • @poomanonfire have you seen the original plans for spore?! they were amazing. wtf why didnt they stick with the original design your weapons/tanks/city for actual functionaliyt instead of looks? they were going to have realistic survival of the fittest, underwater cities, an entire underwater evolution stage prior to going on land unlike the dumb cell stage they put in to replace it. it really pisses me off

  • @hbmp88 Yeah that game looked so sweeeet

  • i wish there was a game like this in 3d graphics anyone know anything???

  • ever since 3d has entered the PC era, I didn't see good games, they lack ideas and inspiration. You'd better stick to Pharaoh, Caesar3, AOK 1-2,

    believe me.

  • @maz1ydas Children of the Nile

  • Its a city builder game following the history of ancient Egypt its fun until you get sick of it :DDD

  • 2 million tonnes of stone in the great pyramid. An epic monument to effort and organization.

  • more like to empty work on the backs of thousands of peoples to satisfy the religious neurosis of the ruling class.

at least the chinese later on would build useful things like giant canals.

  • I'm fine with that, the slavery and the crazy religious beliefs are justified since they didn't know any better. What does this have to do with the Chinese?

  • not exactly slaves. yes they knew better. in europe they shifted to serfdom and then greater freedoms in the eleventh century while in the islamic world slavery was common and still is. in the end of the day such things are still built see burj dubai , and they actually did know better before that but were made into not knowing better. the people building the pyramids were better off than people working on other monuments today.

  • lol...
