@sakahowdah well just the noise would scare most everything in the area -- It is a scarey machine to see operate - I would keep a long distance between me and the saw. Dave

We are in the Appalachian Music community of Floyd Virginia - I am also making a small museum display of some of my computers available to the public in the Village Green. We are on the "Blue Ridge Parkway" & " The Crooked Road - Virginia's Heritage Music Trail" . A lot of good things here - drop in and see us sometime. Also if you are biker this is a big stop over for riders on the Blue Ridge Parkway - Dave
@77camaro Hi - A good point - if we had lawnmowers of the same magnitude we would need some really big yards.. You can hear this thing for about 2 miles - it is a real noise machine as well as trimmer.
I wonder how this would work for crowd control..?

I saw one of these today in Bastain, VA. I'd never seen one before. Have there ever been any accidents with these?

One of these things chopped down 3 trees in my yard today and the only thing I can say is they are lucky I don't have a shotgun.
