  • SEE "NOAH JASPER HAMPTON'S" PROFILE on Google profile and Myspace.com

  • Our Family is having his book re-published. "AN EYEWITNESS TO THE DARK DAYS 1861-65 BY N.J. HAMPTON". We hope it will be ready by June 2011 if not sooner.

A copy of the book can be read at the Tennessee State Library Nashville. Only 4 known copies have been located out of more 500 printed in 1898.

  • I had a direct ancestor in the 18th, J.A. Brandon. He also had a brother in the 18th, William. Both men were from Macon Co., TN. A third brother was in Ward's Cavalry. I would be very interested in your book.

  • This is a great video. I envy you, to have so much of your ancestor's things. Wish I was so blessed. I only know where mine is buried.

  • @ConfederateGypsy THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS!

It took time to gather and put together all the information together about my GGGrandfather, but it was worth while. By doing so I found cousin's I did not know I had, a book he had written and where he was born. His book is being re-printed and released this Spring by family members.

"AN EYEWITNESS TO THE DARK DAYS 1861-65" by N. J. Hampton

    Again Thanks!
