My fav character,one of the most prominent in the film,the young Mormon that disagreed with what was happening & spoke out against it. I don't know if his character was based on a real person or not?

It shows that the leaders of THiS Mormon group followed blindly the decision to kill the people...believing they were doing God's will.They chose that day to kill unarmed people. It might have not been done exactly as this movie portrayed,but we can learn from it..if not the movie,the event.

No I don't actually have any friends who are born again. I'll be honest, I haven't read the book and it was wrong that I made the claim. I just have seen plenty of footage of people who have been separated from their partners because of the religion. And yes, don't trust the media and all that but the point I was trying to get at was that not all Muslims are extremists and that they are not cowards and that the Mormon religion is far from perfect.

Also (again this is only media) it apparently says something in the book of Mormon of people being cursed with black skin. I think it was because they remained undecided or something between good and evil. I don't remember the story too well but apparently that was the explanation as to why people have black skin. The movie director and what they depict on this movie is so far out that is laughable. The killings did happen, but accusing the Mormon leaders of condoning the event is simply ludicrous. The facts portrayed in this movie are fiction, for the most part.
