(to finish my last comment) If you can listen to the song (or read the lyrics while watching the video) and understand it is MIMING you will think it's funny! Because that is just what it is... FUNNY! I can understand why your initial reaction to these style videos would be as an insult to the Deaf or Deaf Culture because of some of the crude gestures but you need to keep in mind it is a mime not Sign Language. People who don't know actual Sign Language think that miming is signing. The people out there that know sign language understand the difference between miming and signing. They are two completely different things. Miming has nothing to do with the Deaf or Deaf Culture. Offense should not be taken from this video or any miming style videos even if they are mis-named calling it "Deaf". Enough with the bickering back and forth!

I said I can understand why you would take offense to it because of his crude gestures but it has nothing to do with sign language! MIMING IS NOT SIGN LANGUAGE!!! the only thing they have in common is a form of communication while using your hands. He is not making fun of you or any other Deaf person in the world. I said in my first comment that I felt he has rude gestures YES but it does not mean he is making rude gestures to DEAF PEOPLE!! I am agreeing with you on that one thing but you need to understand it is not sign language. That's because he's not signing. Those moves are based on a pantomime of the lyrics to the song that's being played. Naturally if you're deaf, you'll have no clue what's really going on, but ignorance has caused people to title these type of videos insensitively.
