I have a question. Does all 5 Micrograms of the Tuna mercury get absorbed, or do you crap some of it out. It depends on the type of mercury ingested.

Normal elemental mercury doesn't absorb well, and only about 1% will be absorbed and you should pass the rest.

Methyl-mercury (found in tuna) is an organic mercury, similar to Thiomersal. Organic Mercuries are completely absorbed when ingested/injected/inhaled.

A major difference though is that Methylmercury bio accumulates, while ethylmercury (thiomersal) Does not.

Dosages:

6oz of tuna: 50MiG

H1N1 Vac: .5MiG
