This is the best movie i ever saw about wow and i saw it many years ago when he just uploaded it to the net. Unbreakable forever :D .... god i miss the old days so much.
People who says vanilla was the best part of WOW either never played in vanilla or is just stupid. PVP didn't take skill back then, it was a grind fest...thats it! Sure you had good players and bad players, just like today. Sure, i remember downing bosses in MC and BWL and it definitly meant something, much different then feeling downing a hard boss today. Vanilla WOW and WOW today cannot be compared. However, there is no doubt that wow now is much better then wow back then in my opinion.

They can be compared becuase they are the same game...
Biggest difference is now you can get amazing sets practically given to you instead of taking time to earn them and show your worth
@Kukakkau I had 2 high warlords in my old guild back in vanilla...these guys could barely break 1600 to 1700 rating in arena during BC time. So, show your worth? did you know what alot of people did back in Vanilla to get GM or HW? they did what was called clocking...meaning while they slepted someone else played their character and when they woke they would take over...don't tell me show your worth..you are a fool who obviously never played back then.

No I was not a HW. It was not worth it and a complete waste of time because this was before cross server BGs and usually a long wait. Shortly after cross server BGs, BC was coming out.
@Kukakkau How can PVP back then require more skill when you have twice the amount of talents now and the other half dont even work the same as they did in vanilla? Cant really even compare them...totally different game now.

rogues before required you to stay in range and maybe use vanish to close the gap - shadowstep gets added thats gone

Damn i miss pre-tbc..... all of my characters that i use to love are now level 85 and boring as shit, especailly my two old favourites, my shaman, Just like this one and my Rogue.... Full Bloodfang set, with Thunderfury, if someone makes a private server which is pre tbc and is eligable to play on cata expansions, then i'll definatly play and im sure alot of other vanilla lovers will too.
@Cookiez1337 Because despite what the video shows, enhancement shamans were awful in PvP. I've seen better shamans in better gear than Unbreakable's killed by level 45 rogues. They didn't have the survivability that every other class had to be put in a melee situation. Plus, Unbreakable was just bad. S-keying, keyboard turning, even some clicking in there. Every player he fought was undergeared and/or awful. Against good players, he got wrecked.
@Alyhmify Without a weapon chain, all he does is die to a well geared warrior who knows what disarm is (he had help killing the only well geared warrior in the video). A good mage wouldn't take a single hit except for frost shock, which would get absorbed. Rogues could kill him with evasion (no rogues in the video got the opener), warlocks could just dot and run, using their fel hunter to remove frost shocks if necessary (short range on frost shock). Et cetera. He just played awful players. :P
@Cookiez1337 Also, he probably already had the restoration gear from PvE and wanted to make some dramatic statement about some specs not working well enough to be worthwhile in PvE. :D

No where did I say anything about gear, but since you did bring it up, yes you did have to have a certain rank to get the different pieces of epic gear once upon a time.

Alright, the fact is Vanilla was great in our past memories. Similar to memories of a childhood household, you remember where you grew up, you remember what made you who you are today. We cannot be living in the past, was it really that fun to get one shotted like this back in the day? I can tell you it wasn't.
to those of you who say wow is better now then it used to be. that's what makes you noobs. They nerfed WoW every expansion. It used to be HARD to get epics and when you got an epic it was pure and simple EPIC. Plus Legendary items. Now what? everyone and their mom has full epic gear that you can buy by running a 5 man instance that I could run solo. The raids used to take 40 people to clear now 10 good people with 15 scrubs can pretty much beat any raid.
Lol at this shit, people act like he's the best shaman of all time or something. This video is nothing more than a demonstration of how terrible vanilla was, fucking clickers/keyboard turners running around one shotting people just because they had good gear.

@71Poison I liked TBC the best too, I just wish I played a different class during it. So many classes/specs were useless in vanilla (balance, prot paladins, etc) and a lot of that carried into TBC.

@AleksandrsLV If you're bad maybe, earth shock/wind shear gives you the ability to deal damage with earth shock and interrupt separately instead of having to save earth shock for an interrupt. It was just a meaningless dps loss.
It is a shame that back then there was only 1 tier set because if there was an enhancement set I am almost positive that tier 2 would have been better than that PVP gear you are wearing, I miss these days though...
There used to be a troll shaman on our server with that monster of a weapon, I feared him every time I saw him, he was very geared as well.... Good times though, pvp was actually fun back then.
Half the people posting here have never even played before Wrath, they only say they 'miss vanilla' to seem cool. Anyone who actually played during that time knows how much PvP sucked because of how unbalanced it was.

Well. I played as a shaman during Vanilla. And I don't think it sucked. Why? Because everything was better back then. First of all, there was no assholes and retards. People didnt give a shit about your gear. Even if you wanted raids or premades. And the PvP system was so insanely good. And yes. I got High Warlord. Best time of my life.
You guys are full of nostalgia, I remember clearly going into BGs against premade raid groups and getting totally demolished, even with a Rank 10 set of gear on.
At lvl 60 this guy ran WoW. Seriously nobody could touch him. He wrecked everything and no one could do anything about it. This guy was defintly unbreakable. haha

This is amazing. I wish i had rolled a shaman during vanilla, but it was just such a pain to level and i only got my warlock to legionnaire with 3 pieces of T1. The game was hard back then and epics were actually epic! Everyone still had greens.

What people fail to understand is he's in full High Warlord gear, (PvP) and they're in mostly PvE gear. So he's gonna hit and live longer. Let's not forget he's still good.

Classic is overrated and there were no players that were ACTUALLY good. People think unbreakable is pro or something but he's just another terrible clicker, only difference was that he had the best gear in the game and he made a video of himself one shotting people with a lucky WF crit while they're in terrible gear.

In fact, the majority of the people who think vanilla was better than it actually was didn't even play it, at least not at max level. The game is better and more polished now than it used to be, get over it.

@71Poison I liked TBC the best too, I just wish I played a different class during it. So many classes/specs were useless in vanilla (balance, prot paladins, etc) and a lot of that carried into TBC.

@AleksandrsLV If you're bad maybe, earth shock/wind shear gives you the ability to deal damage with earth shock and interrupt separately instead of having to save earth shock for an interrupt. It was just a meaningless dps loss.

It is a shame that back then there was only 1 tier set because if there was an enhancement set I am almost positive that tier 2 would have been better than that PVP gear you are wearing, I miss these days though...
There used to be a troll shaman on our server with that monster of a weapon, I feared him every time I saw him, he was very geared as well.... Good times though, pvp was actually fun back then.

Half the people posting here have never even played before Wrath, they only say they 'miss vanilla' to seem cool. Anyone who actually played during that time knows how much PvP sucked because of how unbalanced it was.

most of the one shots are on non mana shielded mages, non power word shielded priests, or non evasion rogues....you see that an absolutely overgeared behemoth is coming down on you and dont run from his effective range....and your fucked...balance is present, competence is not.

Back then there was world pvp and the sense of playing warcraft had this " feel " to it that it no longer has. Unbreakable was the TOP TOP TOP TOP TOP TOP dog of the server, well known and everyone feared him. I actually played in frostmane while he was around. Wouldn't it make sense that he can 1 shot everyone considering he outgears everyone.

This is amazing. I wish i had rolled a shaman during vanilla, but it was just such a pain to level and i only got my warlock to legionnaire with 3 pieces of T1. The game was hard back then and epics were actually epic! Everyone still had greens.

I find it so funny. People complain now about wow - guess what people - people complained back then also! That grind for good gear in vanilla sucked so FUCKING BAD! Make no mistake! And for people saying that pvp took skill back then - stfu...you dont know what you are talking about! Raiding took skill back then, pvp was just a grind fest! Some people had skill and some didnt...same as today. However, when you seen guys with epics back then...that was something to see..I will agree!

Wow is finally getting good and casual, obviously the people who complains about the game NOW is those who never tried pretbc, they maybe tried it on some lousy private server, but real pre tbc was hell, it was only a matter of grinding.

wasnt like the gear with like lava rocks elemental gear. and pre bc sucked they wouldnt have made expansions if they werent good you leveled like shit and everything sucked for lower levels thats why they changed the mount type stuff.
