@korvix "finger position?" these guys can move some serious weight around with excellent form and you're commenting on finger position? I want to make so many inappropriate comments about how you could better put your fingers to use, but I'll refrain. I only need one finger position to demonstrate how I feel about your comment.
This is great advice. It's especially important as you tire towards the end of your sets to retain this form.
As for the bent bar or "cambered bar", this is a bar that sits better on the upper back than a straight bar and is also easier to hold in position due to the hands being lower. It mimics what you sometimes see in poor countries when they carry heavy loads in buckets across their back using a "yoke". It is much better for squat training than an ordinary straight bar, but rarer to find.
@aaantonios IT'S CALLED A "BUFFALO BAR" OR AN "S- CUBED BAR"ITS MADE BY IRONMIND........IT'S MADE THAT WAY.........GOOGLE IT! IF ELEIKO MADE THEIR OWN VERSION OF THE BUFFALO BAR, IT WOULD BE BENT EXACTLY LIKE THAT. PLEASE DONT TRY TO SOUND LIKE YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ELEIKO. iF YOU DID POSSESS THAT KNOWLEDGE, YOU WOULD HAVE KNOWN WHAT THAT BAR WAS.
I DO always forget to tighten as I go under, it throws me off a bit not gonna lie.
@Biggerblue666 that cage thing is where you stretch at. There is a sign in front of it which shows different ways to stretch rather than just laying on the floor and doing it. It's delicious.
I've noticed a few contraptions to attach to a traditional bar when squatting, i.e. stingray, however after watching this video, I wonder is there a preforated bar solution best for squats? Curved bar after over 800lbs have been placed on it! :0)
Time for a new bar I think

wide stance for raw squatters????yes or no...help
cheesedips 1 year ago
@cheesedips Depends on your body composition, play around with it and see what works best for you.
A wider stance can be beneficial, but I wouldn't suggest going super wide like in powerlifting competitions.
