  • i released my first song on youtube last week, may you want to ear it just type Mommo sometimes im shy

  • Name them all, Elvis, Frank, David, Ozzy,...Dori

  • @delmoniaco Presly, Sinatra, Bowie, Osbourne, Caymmi

  • não canso de ouvir, isto é demais, acho que tdo mundo antes de morrer deveria ouvir esta obra prima de Caymmi.

  • o que dizer disto, sem palavras, isto é BRASIL, isto veio do BRASIL, isto é CAYMMI.

  • MARAVILHA

  • Sorry, but the "animation" is totally stupid besides being completely disconnected from the spirit of music.

  • Do you know what the song is about or the history of this musician? If you do then the criticism is excepted.

  • @fromedmond Surely, I know. When that song was composed Dori had in mind the beaches of southern Bahia, Trancoso as such.

  • This song brings a lot of good memories. It always put a smile on face every time I hear the heavenly arrangement

  • It really is a masterwork.

  • Essa é uma das músicas mais lindas de Dori Caymmi. Cinematográfica. É fechar os olhos e sonhar com a Bahia.

  • i first listened to dori caymmi's music in a movie soundtrack. i still enjoy his music 20 years later. what class and style he has! absolutely beautiful.

  • I am still astonished by his composing clarity. My disappointment is that he is not as well known as he should be. I hope you liked the visuals as well.

  • Lifts me into the clouds...

  • Dori Caymmi é um gênio. Pena que o Brasil não saiba disto!

  • fine stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ÓTIMO DEMAIS......

  • Green or blue sea... beach, palm tree... It means Bahia, Brazil. Caymmi' s land...

  • how did I miss this one!... thanks, fromedmund, for posting another beauty from Dori Caymmi...5*+

  • I sure like this tune, it's one of those tunes where you have to be patient to hear all of Caymmi's long segments and wonderful B and C parts

  • agree, Sr. Ted, thanks...and I just can't get over the beauty and depth of his amazing voice (in addition to the lovely melody)... never tire of hearing his music, ever!... have a nice eve. P.

  • When you listen to this song you must think about Bahia-Brazil..summer...beaches..sun! Thank you for posting!

  • Thank you for shairng, very creative and peaceful

  • His interviews took place in Los Angeles as it's mentioned in the video description. It looks like there's a whole series of interviews posted on user discovermusictaste.

  • great song, great video!

  • Thank you so much and most of all thank you for your interview postings of Dori. I was curious when and where those interviews took place?

  • Thank you for informing me. He certainly did not look like he was in his 90's. Dori Caymmi will always be one of my favorites. The music from the CD of Gabriela's Song and Porto

    are simply without any equal.

  • Dori, or Dorival (according to the New York Times) died about

a week ago. He died of natural causes (organ failure).

  • It was the dad, Dorival. Not surprising since he partied all his life and lived to be 94. His son Dori is the musician behind this particular piece. Thanks for letting me know.

  • Certainly of my favorite CD's

    Dori was phenominal !

  • I see you said, was here, and the last poster, Kriptozen, says Adeus Dori, (goodbye Dori). As far as I know, Dori is still alive. His dad Dorival died many years ago. Is there something I missed?

  • Adeus, Dori!

  • o cara é simplesmente um gênio isso que é musica abraços!

  • Muito lindo !!!!
