i understand that about the music. but when i listen to behemoth, i don't listen for the ideology behind their lyrics and sound, i listen to it because, well, its some of the best metal i've heard. i never liked the fact that an individual has to be atheistic or a satanist to listen to black metal and death metal. its a stupid "rule". i don't believe it's contradictory either because their music hasn't changed my beliefs at all. why shouldn't i listen to them if i like them?

You dont have to be atheistic or satanist or thelemic to appreciate the music, but it helps. If you want the music to have substance to it you have to be one of the afforementioned.
This kind of music changed my beliefs, which is what theyre aiming to do i think, maybe it can do the same for you.

i can understand where you are coming from. when i listen to bands like impending doom, who is a christian death metal band, i appreciate it even more. your a smart guy insomnium92. seriously. probably one of the most intelligent people on youtube.
i do have some things about my church and religion and church that i do not see eye to eye with, but as a whole, my faith and religion is just exactly what i feel. i don't think it will change.

and to be honest, i truely dispise those people. they are so highly hypocritical from their beliefts to the way they act in public and on youtube, myspace, etc. that they are the cause for a lot of stereotypes on christians. me personally, i could care less about other people's points of view. it doesn't affect me. i'm not going to shove it down people's throat either.

Naw, they opened up for Lamb of God and Hatebreed in Binghamton, New York. It wasnt part of Ozzfest. 3 Inches of Blood was there too.

I just saw Behemoth with Dimmu a month ago too. :) I think I've seen Behemoth like 5 times in the last two-three years.
I'm wondering if some of that footage is at Slim's in SF? If it was, I was there in that crowd. The roof support poles in front of the stage make it look like Slim's, but I'm not sure.

not particularly. if it was then it'd be contradicitive to what people have been saying about it not being affiliated with satan. metal is just an extreme art form, it doesn't matter what theme is in question. people can be against religion, music is just a way of putting an opinion forward.
