  • Get a life

  • religionist

  • You are a messed up man!

  • yo kirby does this guy really exist?

if yes , where is he? i wanna see him :D

  • "you are the moron" followed by "nobody has insulted you"

andrea23345, does that make you an oxymoron?

  • coward! he didn't mention Islam when he says that religions lead to nothing! Is he afraid to offend Muslims?

  • @kahlani yotally if he really learned something about islam then he would have converted

  • I'm an atheist myself, and my opinion is that all atheists out there should stop criticizing religions and just live out their own lives. That's the point of atheism after all, right?

  • @saskwachi no

  • 18 years to go..

  • this is RAD!!!

  • I love how everyone comments on a religious topic.

  • Praise nothing!

  • I'm a very devoted and convinced Christian, and this is Hilarious.

Cool how you allow both Christians and atheists to laugh at this based on their projection on it.

  • devoted to jesus huh?

    fucking.....moron

  • you are the moron... at least take your point out with more respect! nobody has insulted you

  • "It came to me in a flashing white light, that it's all really bull-shit" lol! This is hillarious!

  • Praise the Lord!!!

  • Straight out Flannery O'Conner's "Wise Blood"

  • lol evangelical atheists. its something of a contradiction in terms, but nevertheless seems fairly common among atheists. they are not as funny in person and frequently perpetrate as much violence against the religious as they claim the religious perpetrate. this does an apt job of satirizing the contradiction. maybe we'd all be a little better off respecting others beliefs as personal and particular until we find better ways of intelligent discourse about them. goes for all religious

  • why respect what doesnt respect us?

christianity says we should be tortured for disagreeing the bible was written about god... all churches should be burned to the ground and religion outlawed and punished by castration

  • Where does it say that?

  • where do you mean where does it say that? anyone who doesnt believe the bible was written by god and therefore thinks jesus is a fraud .... goes to hell ... thats basic christianity

  • How do I know that? I asked you a simple question where does it say that in the Bible?

  • Yes do that as well. Because you make absolutely no sense at all.

  • your pie chart is:

    1. wrong

    2. funny

    3. I love lists

  • take that jesus !

  • LOL this man cant me serious? he contradicts himself soo many times. good on him, about time someone took a different look at religion and science

  • I hope you realize that this IS a bit of a joke.

  • I guessed it had to be a bit of a joke. but even still hes hilarious.

  • The key words here are "Who gives a shit if god is real or not?" I don't. And I don't need to break my back over trying to obey a religion.

  • this reverend guy jumped out of Tim Burton's mind.

  • Lol

  • "thats when i became a born-again atheist.."

  • F*ing funny.

  • lol good song!

  • PRAISE NOTHING!! We are in the age of reason!

  • That was the point.

  • hahaha EXACTLy

  • wow, that was hilarious!

  • I loved it.

  • Hilarious! Praise god! ;-)

  • Bravo dude! Bravo!

  • damn this is a comedy sketch stop crying about it. It's a joke, enjoy it!

  • Anyway, why are we arguing on a video thats taking the piss out of athiests? Lol.

  • I have to say I quite disagree. I think this video is more a satire of fundamentalists. A rather good one at that.

  • Ah. Well I don't really know. There are people like this guy (Of course this is an exadurated comedy sketch) and I hate them even more than blind beleivers of X faith. I know people who switch religions and claim to be atheists in the end and do stupid shit. They give atheiests a bad name xD

But anyway, yeah this is quite funny and sorry to rant but a hypocritical and blind follower of the Christian faith really aggrivated me just a few minutes ago. Lol.

  • I think its a satire of atheists who act like fundamentalists.

  • The thing is that there is no such thing as an atheist fundamentalist. A fundamentalist is a person who constantly quotes holy scripture as fact.

This is a satire of RELIGIOUS fundamentalists in the sense that it's like saying: "Hey, fundamentalists, this is what you guys are like to us."

  • Did I say atheist fundamentalist? I said atheists that act like fundamentalists.

Yes, they're out there. Not as bad as him, obviously. Its intentionally exaggerated because its a comedy skit.

  • My mistake. I must have misread your comment earlier.

I still disagree, but, sure, there are atheists that possess fundamentalist characteristics.

  • and still, atheism as a dogma or doctrine, is being used the same by atheists as religion by religious people. they try to shove their ideas in your throat (an existing or non-existing god).

  • How is it a dogma or doctrine? We only say that there's no such thing as god, it doesn't come attached with a whole set of rules, rituals and misconceptions about how the world was created.

  • A belief that there is no God *is* a misconception as to how the world was created.

  • You just keep on believing that buddy.

  • Oh really? Well I'm sorry that I am not satisfied with "God did it" and choose to examine our observable universe for my explanations.

  • Yes it does, it's called "science".

  • Amen, or non-amen to that.

  • Love it!

  • Brilliant.

  • ahahah good stuff born again atheists

  • we will be number 1 by 2027

  • Rev Zero looks mighty fetching in his sheet tied at a jaunty angle ... meow!

  • This is halarious!

    I love you...<3

  • omg, no shit u cant walk on water...u dont believe if u make a mockery of that

  • i think he joined the relegion of weed, or crack

    or sumtin

  • even if its not ment to offend (believe me im athiest) its still a little harsh dont you think

  • how so. Religious people make fun of atheists a lot worse. They also say we're going to hell because we don't believe in jesus. I think eternal hell for me justifies infinite mockery for them.

  • ok point taken

  • agreed, as an atheist I allways get shit.

  • how issit a mockery if they dont believe in hell in the first place. youre using your own arguement to argue for yourself.

  • HomeReality: believing in Jesus does not make the difference between heaven or hell. Satan believed in Jesus, and that didn't do anything for him.

  • It's faith in Jesus that makes the difference. Satan doesn't believe, he knows - which makes it worse if you ask me.

  • I correcting Vegaldi's statement that Darwin was a Christian. I do not think his theology has any bearing on whether his theory should or should not be supported.

  • I also doubt Claytorpedo's assertion that Darwin called his own theory rediculous. However I was not sure enough to comment on that issue.

  • I am kinda a christian and i do believe in evolution but one thing which makes me kinda think there is a god is the double

circulatory system cause animals have either got to have a single circulatory system or a double anywhere in between you die, how in one generation that changed with just one gene, thats pretty crazy! in my mind it hints to something else influencing it could be completely wrong course!

  • omigoodness that was adorable! : D

    clearly for kicks and giggles

    and not meant to offend.

    delightful as always.

  • For some of you who find this is offensive, did you ever consider that your religion might be offensive.

    OFFENSIVE

    adjective

1 |əˈfensiv| causing someone to feel deeply hurt, upset, or angry

When i hear people act like their religion is absolute fact it upsets me deeply. I don't care however, because we have freedom of religion, choice, expression and speech.

Ergo, the offender should not be suppressed, yet the person being offended should learn tolerance.

  • ok this absolutely awesome and hilarious

  • yes yes ...

  • WTF?? are u tring to make Funn of me?? cause if ur were thta was terabile

I would laugh if it was funn but it ant

  • Lmao my dad would spank me with the bible!

  • How is this offensive to anyone?

  • cause it is

  • What?! Just because religion is featured it is not necessarily mocking it. Oh Noes it features an atheist.

To me this vid is more about how people use religion as a license for crazy, and how ridiculous we'd find an atheist acting with the same zeal.

  • i totaly agree, but Religion is not somthing to "beat down" on a personal belive so i dont understand ppl that make funn of religion. its not funny ur basically making funn of somone.

    Peace Great comment CoJaFlow

    Jon (yomommajdd)

  • umm religion is very funning and no they aren't making fun of someone. they are making fun of an entire religion (ie millions). have you never made fun of anyone ever? you should try. as long as your intent is to generate amusement and not cause hurt it is fine. you cant just not make a joke cuz some people will be offended. 90% of jokes are aimed at someone.

  • Fourteen percent of all people know that. ;P

  • take a joke. even homosexuals can take more of a beating than you.

  • This is one fantastic performance. Thank you, Liked it very much.

One thing though, It is not the third place, It is the first place.

  • Just wondering, any or you believe that we can evolve to something else, if given the time and pressure?

  • I mean the video.

  • I'm Christian and I think its hilarious.

  • SIDE NOTE: I saw that Kent Hovind was mentioned earlier on. I mean this as no disrespect claytorpedo but I would advise anyone interested in the topic to take the words of Mr. Hovind with a grain of salt. Even other young-earth creationists tend to look down on his arguments. Many young-earth creationists do have their heads on straight and I wouldn't last five minutes in serious discussion with them, but Hovind is not one of them.

  • "A wood pecker has to withstand thousands of psi on it's skull as it looks for insects on a tree. It could not wait a few million years before it's skull could withstand the pressure. It would need it instantly or it would die."

    lol fail

  • What the heck does evolution have to do with Christianity? Both can be true.

  • Not if you believe in the Bible... or evolution for that matter.

  • Not true. The Bible's creation story can happen with evolution. The days of creation could be any amount of time.

  • Yeah you're probably right DoseOfOwnage.

  • fresh

  • Lmfao this is so uncanny. I just did a presentation on this in my Industrial Sociology class. Science and rationality and the devolution of religion.

  • great character

  • lol cute video

  • I kinda don't see the point in this video. Is it making fun of evangelicals or atheists? Both maybe? Any ways its pretty hypocritical of these atheist douches to act like the same intolerant assholes that they're talking about.

  • wow, I sparked a larg debate with one small comment. What fun.

  • lmfaooo ahaha. I'm not gonna get into the whole religious thing - GOD people are stupid. OOPS! I said GOD in my comment. Let's all get into a 20 comment argument about it! YEAH! Hahah but seriously dude - this video was fucking hilarious :)

  • an 180 comment argument. lol

  • Oh, and I did like the part in the video when he walked into the door! lol. But didn't that part almost go against evolution? I thought that this video was supporting the idea.

  • I think he was trying to make fun of... jesus.

  • That just goes against philosophy. Evolution is one of many theories that explains our being here. Me walking into a door believing it isn't there doesn't contradict any of those theories.

  • Evolution is not a theory.

  • "Theory of evolution"

  • You do know Evolution has basicly been proven, right?

  • I'm not saying it hasn't... that's just what it's called.

  • Well i didn't even open the thing up to "View All Comments", it was just every other comment was the same three people fighting.

  • lol, so stupid really. I prefer the word discussing! lol

  • lol alllright.

I'm just glad you're not being an ass about this like most people are.

Everything is going very smoothly tonight that really shouldn't be.

Thanks for keeping the chain going.

  • Reverend Zero is the best borderline nihilist of all time. I say borderline because his passion in believing in nothing is too convincing; he loves believing in nothing therefore he believes in something. Which is, of course, believing in nothing.

(I love human contradictions, and I enjoy these Kirby posts. Keep it up.)

  • jesus rocks my socks off

  • The main joke is that atheism isn't really "not believing in any religion," it has become: "believing that all religions are wrong," and as such, like a religion itself. You may find it true if you know any atheists that love to "convert" people to atheism. A true atheist (that doesn't belive in anything) would not be worried about religion and go about their business whithout discussing it.

  • Very true.

  • damn, this is an amazing caricature of the everyday athiest hahahahahaha.

  • YESS!!! cool video! i hate atheists :P

  • And why so do you hate logical human beings? =P

  • 1. their ligic isnt based on love.

    2. they dont want to see logic in any religion, when it gets logical, once you get to know what is what.

    3. they hide under scientific fact, as if christians would denie them :D

  • Our logic is based on logic... What other logic is there but that what makes sense.

I see very little logic in religion. The only parts in religious books that are logical and make sense are the bits that are just telling a story, and even then it sprouts into unlikley make-beleive.

  • You dont see logic in religion as in a way of life, or in religion as in myths and fairytails? There cant be no logic found if you base your thinking on your ego. and real christians try to do as little as they can to promote their ego. becouse - we all know - all conflicts come from the human ego. and you cant avoid it only by saying "well, if i dont steal, if i dont lie, i dont need god, and can still be a good man..." yes you can be a good man, but only bu the rules presented to you by

  • ...by todays society and its moral normalities.

Only by avoiding to act as your ego tells you, you can really love. and without love there is no happiness. happiness=love+life

  • [Cont.]

Oh, and note the word fact in your last sentence. Fact means something that is. So you're saying that we hide behind the truth? We dont hide behind it, we beleive it. I'm not saying I'm closed and set on this, I'm open to whatever makes the most sense, but nothing in christianity makes sense. Sure, if god came down and spoke to me, or just made my mind think what you people say is "the truth" I'd beleive he existed. I don't know if I'd worship him, but I'd beleive he existed.

  • your disbelief is riddiculus :D if you really think of god as an old man sitting on the cloud and listening to everybodys prairs, then i see why you dont believe :D

  • Did that really require three comments?

I act as I act and I feel as I feel. Religion only complicates the simplicity of life and causes more trouble.

I don't cause conflict, I don't seek trouble or anger or pain, my 'ego' tells me to search for peace and freedom and love. What else is good?

  • lol, he doesn't believe in Jesus thats why he can't walk on water and its a good message, make more dude its FUNNY!

  • this guy is gonna go insane some day like Sigmund Freud, Friedrich Nietzsche, and even like Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984. Too bad.

  • lmao I showed my mom this and she said this guy is great

  • The Church of Nothing's Bible is TFF!

  • fear makes you controlable

  • the chick in the middle looks hott

  • At first I thought he said, at 0:50, "Can I get a NAYmen?" But then I listened to it again, and it's just "amen." And now I'm a little bit sad.

  • The poeple flaming him/her have made the personal decision to believe that his/her idea of the creation of the universe (and its end) is a joke. It seems to me that both sides are trying to convert each other. How about we let it go and let people believe what they believe? There would be a lot less wars, lot less confusion and a lot less of me getting headaches.

  • Only the non-scientific propose that nobody will ever know where we came from. Rational individuals admit we don't know, but accept that one day we might. Or not.

We think human beings have the right to understand the situation.

So you just sit there and decide which human beings can be allowed to struggle on in ignorance while the rest of us believe in the power of education and truth, okay?

You won't have any irritating headaches. Just believe everything is a-ok, and it will be.

  • All I'm saying is that I'm sick of hearing the same argument being played over and over when any reasonable person that it will never have a solution.

And claytorpedo, I didn't mean you in particular was trying to convert anyone. Sorry if I put it like that cause I didn't mean to.

  • I'm not actually here to convert anyone, just to point out that believing in evolution actually takes more faith (in my opinoin) than believing in other religions such as christianity. Evolution is a religion of its own.

  • claytorpedo, I don't want to sound like a jerk for correcting your spelling, but since it seems to clearly not be a typo, if you want people to take you seriously, I suggest you learn how to spell the word opinion.

  • lol, I don't like to spend too much time here, so I'm typing really fast, and only browsing my comments before I post them. I don't really care about spelling as long as it is understandable. Did you know that God made our brains so amazing and complex that if you veiw a word with it's middle letters all scrwed up like tihs, you can sitll raed it?

  • It sounds like you are all saying the same thing. No one knows how the universe was created and no one ever will. Certain people like Claytorpedo has made the personal decision that a higher being has created the earth and humans beings to follow him. (cont)

  • I can't wait for 2027. It's going to be awesome.

  • HELL YEAH!!!! ^_^

  • why?

  • I lost the comment what did I say?

  • "I do not believe the door is here." BAM!

    Hee hee.

  • he looks like jim jones....and elvis all in one :D

  • LOL, awesome!

  • *edit* apparently the reply button is working, I'm a bit new to this...apologies for the apology I suppose?

  • sorry I could not respond to everyone. I want to go to bed now. I'll see what happens tommorrow.

  • After all that I'm still convinced in a) evolution is for real, and b) God exists. However, I still believe religion is one of the greatest downfalls of mankind.

  • moorcherry, I think the problem isn't with religion, but is with religious dogma. Religion in any form is very complex, and consists of verious elements, and incorporates aspects of spiritualism, law, ritual, philosophy and more, and in the end almost all religion says more about humans than it does about, say, the nature of the universe.

  • The problem is that too many people feel the need to treat religious texts and the like as the absolute, irrefutable factual/historical truth, without giving thought to any evidence to the contrary. This attitude, overall, is not reflective of religion so much as it of the people who maintain it.

  • MY NAME IS JUNE TOO

    i get migranes too!

    i'm also an atheist!!

    best day ever

  • I reccomend the book Angels and Demons. Good book but it also gives you a new perspective on what religion really is.

  • And I know it's the 'Theory of Evolution', but really, come on. There's enough proof to back it up. Basically, everything in life is a theory and our knowledge of it will be forever infinite.

  • But there is really no proof. Unless you are completly blind and think that things such as "lucy" are true (the monkey person whose partes were assembled from an array of bones found in over a hundered meter radius and in severall different depths of layers of rock).

  • claytorpedo, please - search on here for "potholer54". Watch his "Made Easy" videos (there are 9 of them); you will learn some things.

  • I don't have all the time in the world now do I? Why don't you search Kent Hovin (don't know about spelling though) He was an evolutionist who found everything he tought so contradicting that he realized just how stupid the religion was. I believe that he has several films now of him teaching just how stupid evolution is and how there are so many reasons why it is impossible to have happened.

  • You apparantly have enough time to discuss religion. Since you claim to want to study all sides of an argument, I'd say its within your best intrest to watch the videos if they have the potential to expand you knowledge and logical backing.

  • I've seen Hovinds's work. His claims are thoroughly refuted by the videos I mentioned above. If you have time to argue you have time to educate yourself. Education does not mean reading only creationist websites.

  • I don't realy on the web for information. It is not always accurate and can lead you to the wrong direction. Hovind is not my only source either. It is from learing about it in school as well.

  • (continued stupid character limit :P) I suppose though, mind you, that I did not recieve the same education as you would because I attened a private school (obviously they belive that evolution in wrong) so my information may be slighly biased. Thats why you should always try to check things out for yourself. Your teaching is also biaed in that you are being taught by people that (most likely) belive that it is true and want you to belive in it.

  • So, how are you "checking things out for yourself"? Do you read books by people who disagree with your teachers?

If not, a good starting point would be the videos I pointed you to. You don't have to take the information as truth, but it will at least give you a better understanding of what you're trying to dispute.

Unless you're afraid of research that might contradict what you believe, of course.

  • Why on earth would I be afraid of informaion. Just sick of this by now and I want to go make a stop-motion. Do you like pirates? I like pirates. That is why I must go now. lol. I just have done lots of studies on my own time and in school. It's not like you resources aren't biased. The people who are teaching you beleive in it don't they? Or have you read severall other books the Bible included? I'm gonna go......... pirates.

  • Also, I'd like to point out that I'm only in Physics 30AP right now in high school, but I've noticed that everything we come across is a theory. Nothing's ever finalized. What we believe about the electron today could be a completely different idea in 5, 10 or 50 years. I'm not saying the bible is wrong, and I'm not saying evolution is wrong. I'm just saying there's way to much evidence for evolution that's it's impossible to disregard.

  • claytorpedo, I'm just saying this is what I think, but perhaps religion is just a way for people who are afraid of death to have an excuse to reassure themselves that they'll be alright for whatever it is they fear after life.

And how can you say there is no solid evidence of evolution? Please, give me one fact to support that statement.

  • show me your evidence, other than those stupid textbook and what 'scientists told you'

  • ..That was all supposed to be in reply to claytorpedo. Damn youtube.

  • (con't...)..New viruses and infections are being fought off all over the world. This strengthens our immunity system, thus showing how humans can adapt, or 'evolve', to better fight off the things that harm us. Look at how the average life span has grown in the past 100 years. Sure, technological and medical advances have helped us, but that's just one more adaptation that we've evolved into suceeding.

  • "And furthermore I am Jesus" LOLOLOL!!!

  • "Praise nothing, we're in the age of reason!"
