hes dead man. Its been a while since i messed with the AT4 but i know when it comes to the back blast power the RPG is just as vicious. The AT4 has a back blast area in a fan shape of 90 degrees, 100 meters. the reason its so lethal is not only because of the actual explosion but because of the sound wave it sends back, it alone will kill you. This guy didn't survive, hes in pieces man, it was right on his neck. poor bastard. Your trained to check your 6 and tell. "Back blast area clear!?" Boom!

This is Iran-Iraq war actual combat footage. Many of the troops were untrained volunteers, so its not surprising that they don't know about how harsh the backblast of an RPG-7 is. A lot of times they fought trench warfare style, which is why you see one guy tossing hand grenades. I'll bet the iraqis were about 50 feet away over the hill.

Recoil is the rearward momentum of the weapon created by the expanding gases accelerating the projectile in closed breech weapons.

Back blast is the expelled gasses of a rocket motor out the back of a launch tube. This is a Rocket Propelled Grenade model 7 so it's back blast.

Lets review:

The tube didn't move, which it would have under recoil.

It did however expel gasses from the rear of the launch tube.

This tells us what? That's right, it's back blast.
