I think your comment is unfair. Unfortunately your son had the bad luck of getting infections...I had a trabeculotomy procedure performed 28 years ago, in Portugal. My surgery did not require any more follow up procedure, drops used until I was 12 years old...I have perfect vision...had it not been for this surgery I would be blind.

@djspot With all do respect i did not came up with that line my son opthalmologist did . I am glad that this surgery worked for you but it was nothing more then a disaster for my child . Their was no other solution for Nicholas at that time it took an Ahmed shunt years correct the problem . I can tel you i have med many other parent of children with glaucoma not to happy of this procedure . But i am glad it worked for you
