Oh wow, I got this set when I was a kid back in the early 90s when it first released. It has always been one of my favorite lego sets, and the room inside the mountain is one of the reasons as well. Your video has made me nostalgic and I'm going to have to dig this thing out of the closet at my parent's house next time I go haha.

Bill, great video of a great LEGO set! I got this one off eBay and it had several pieces missing so it was nice to see this set complete in the vid. I love the music from Land of the Loon and I often play it every day! such healing music. I have built the alternate models too. The SUV is a really nice LEGO vehicle.

I bought TWO of these sets on EBAY - and I believe the lower price I paid was $7. It is no longer made and is ONLY available on BRICKLINK or EBAY - and at that sporadically. You have to luck out on finding one... It is a great set and makes you feel like going camping!!! Bill

I have to say, this is just a BEAUTIFUL set. For I just love nature's beauty. This set shows the beauty of nature. The crystal clear waters, the giant pine trees, the magestic mountains stretching as far as the eye can see. I just wish LEGO would release sets on nature, especialy about polar bears! We need to save our polar bears, or there will be none left!

HA HA!! That will keep you a bit busy... Actually the older videos aren't really that bad. It is fun to chronicle how I went from a MARBLE MACHINE into a full blown Theme Park. Also you will see particular quality improvement over the years. Now I am using a state of the art DV camera. I started out with a KODAK camera - not even DV! You can also tell from my voice how I am recovering more from my stroke... Now I am totally healed. I wasn't speaking as clearly on the earliest videos... Bill

Thanks for the comments Sean. The jeep is a great one and in looks reminded me a friends JEEP CHEROKEE. I guess a new set would have a HUMMER. But with the WORLDWIDE GAS prices maybe a bike would be more in order! I am using the ENGINEER as a prop when I need another character on the "set". HA HA!! It is really a mini movie set!!! If I did Stop Motion video the way I would like it I would end up putting out one film a week or two MAX. I like to build models and do so daily. Stop motion is a art form and takes tons of time.
