  • I would like to recommend the book: "The Ten Things You Can't Say in America" by Larry Elder. It explains how a lot of the skyrocketing cost came into being. It is much in line with what Ron Paul is saying concerning the "Health-Care Crisis"

  • I was in the hospita last june.24 hours cost 42thousend$.how can it cost that much.

  • how much can a religious hospital handle

they dont make that much money so they are putting a great burden upon them selves just providing it free

  • Michael Moore has said the rich need to be taxed to finance free and universal health care for the poor, regardless of either's race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation and political affiliation.

Michael is rich. He owes us. Where is our money, Michael, we need it now?

  • Ron Paul seems to have some reasonable solutions to the health care crisis that nobody else is even talking about. Another idea to fix health care that nobody talks about is to reduce the need for health care, by making people healthier. Our food system, run by profit-hungry corporations & FDA & USDA members who work for them, has no concern for public health, but rather profit/efficiency, and its killing many people world-wide through many diseases and starvation.

  • MRMOP81 STOP CRYING YOU KNOW i'm telling the truth!

  • RON PAUL needs to put on his WHITE SHEET!

  • And you need to put your head back up your ass...

  • If you want government care, go ask a veteran how much they like the VA.

  • i have and they like it alot better then the alternative

  • also if they hate why are veterans fighting to get there families on it

  • The VA IS DOING A GREAT JOB THANKS

  • I am against this healthcare bill because I believe it will be an expensive bureaucratic nightmare. We need a private system where individuals can create a tax exempt porfolio that they use to pay their medical bills. For those who cannot afford it we could subsidize them and still not incurr the amount of cost the proposed plan will incurr. Will encourage a lower of demand for healthcare. People will not spend their money unless they need to and we can increase the savings rate in the country

  • no the biggest problem with health care is the prices we pay at the doctors office overpriced pills ect if we as country charge for goods and services what they really cost anyone could afford a doctors visit without insurance

  • We already have places that people can go to get free care. We don't need govt hand out.

  • Ok, America...see where ignoring the rest of the developed world gets you. Thats what we've been doing for the last 30 years here, and its starting to show. We're living off of older generations, not current ones. We are all just irresponsible trust fund kids.

America didn't become what it is by everyone being greedy, selfish, individualist assholes.

You can be successful and still give back, and understand that no one really creates all their wealth by themselves.

  • I don't think so, RP.

I think these companies are just greedy bastards trying to make a profit-off of something people can't choose NOT to buy.

Yeah, I don't have $2,000 to spend on a plasma TV, so Im not getting one.

But if I get hurt, and need surgery or something, you bet I'll find some way to pay $2,000 for that.

Insurance companies know this, & they exploit it.

Individual greed that happens independently of government. Ever heard of it?

  • Ron understands the problem and has the solution!!! Way to Goooo, Ron....

  • Duh, we already have government health care: Medicare and VA health care. They just don't cover well enough. I've spent considerable time in Canada, and people in Canada value their government health care more than just about anything they have. The politicians don't dare take it away! There isn't a big difference in taxes either. Americans are being brainwashed by their "media".

  • people dont even comprehend the amount of money its going to take for the government to have free health care. its not sustainable and is only going to create more debt for your children.

  • im so tired of hearing everyone B$tching about this i dont have health care and i dont make much money but i dont want a Gov't hand out!

  • Everyone I know who wants single payer healthcare has a decent healthcare provider-and they are in good health.

They just understand that other people don't have that, and they think that they should.

Everyone isn't a greedy, selfish asshole out for themselves like right wingers are.

  • I seen the movie sicko and as far as I can tell all those people in the movie were very happy with free medical care and there was a lot of people from many countries that were interviewed so everything must be considered of course nothing is perfect but I think it is worth the try as long as the government doesn't screw it up but then again I really have no faith in the government anymore, I believe they are controlled by the Bilderberg, the fed, the elite bankers and Globalist with a agenda .

  • Propaganda movie

  • It's not about denying people of health care, It's about getting the cost down so everyone can afford it, and at the same time keeping the control and power in the people's hands not the Gov't

  • US will be bankrupted

  • How about who are already bankrupt due to medical costs ? Medical bills is the number one reason amongst all reason for filing personal bankruptcy.

  • Are you willing to pay up to 50% in income tax?

  • If you make over quarter of a million dollars a year sure you should be willing to. You should be grateful that you will still be paying less than during Kennedy Adminstration.

And by the way do you still want to be enslaved to HMO bureaucrats and be told which doctor you can go to or which medical procedure you can get or in other words rationing by HMO bureaucrats.

  • Well I believe that there should a mix of private and public health care. The government can set up state-owned hospitals that are free of charge. However, there will be a long waiting list involved due excess number of patients seeking "free treatments". That is when private hospitals come in handy, at a cost of course. Problem solved............................NOT!!!!!!!!!
