Ah yes, "Back In The Saddle" the song that ESPN played to the point of annoyance in 2007 when they returned... The original version (like here) is so much better.
Looking through the alternate forms of racing during the Speedworld intro, we see the big 3 American racing Championships: IndyCars, ISMA Camel GT Sports Cars, and of course NASCAR Winston Cup. Now that IndyCar racing is back together, hopefully something can be sorted out to join ALMS and the Rolex Sports Car Series.
Perhaps more importantly, I hope that all of American racing can survive this rough patch in the economy.
Thank god your back man. I remember this one. Mark Martin begins to try and rename this race, "The Mark Martin Benefit at The Glen" or at least that is what I was starting to call it. Terry Labonte did the same thing in the Busch race, "The Terry Labonte 200 At The Glen"
What the HELL happened to John Kernan? I always liked listening to his pit reports.

@Browntown12 He's an NHRA pit reporter now. Paul Page and Gary Gerould of IndyCar broadcast fame are also there for ESPN.

I would imagine that the title would of have come down to Atlanta if Ernie never had that crash?

Much like Daytona in 1991 with Kyle and Dale. Also The Winston a year later.
