@thejwb1 You need to remember you're pitching to a top manager normally at this sort of point. They have heard variations of that line a lot already (normally). I mean it's not about the words you say, but the conviction with which you give it. You need to convince the person. This requires mental agility and good persuasion skills. Reading from a script isn't enough. If you can deliver conviction though, then yes it is a killer line.
Listen, write it down, review it, say it, over and over, believe in your product, be patient and always ASK for the sale, it is really simple, don't make it difficult, Brian makes a lot of sense, people LOVE to BUY, they just don't like to spend money.

Steven Schiffman has a lot of books, or portions of books, which address getting around the gatekeeper. As he explained, the great prospects are the ones that are hard to reach. As BT says in another tape, most decision makers are the boss, and the bosses are often in before work, and stay after. As a result, they often are the ones answering the phone, esp with small businesses. Call the office before and after the regular work day, you'll get results. Often works for me.
I do cold call sales very few people can actually put up the numbers that I do this info will get you paid the I use the exact same techniques but I never touch a phone..Timing, persistence and technique has been my key and it does open doors..
I've been the superstar at every company I've worked for and this guy is dead on in his techniques. He's 100% correct...so use his this information if you want to succeed:-)
Daddyleon, the real reason they make best customers is most probably because the competition will have to fight hard to take it away from you once you have landed the sale.
