@niftyfifty2053 no in the pavlik fight (A Classic), pavlik let jermain wear himself out if you watch it pavlik taunts right before he gets knocked down he wouldn't taunt that close when he was in trouble unless he was drunk (lol). that fight was won with power straight rights, heart and chin. that being said taylor is an absolutely great fighter with a little more smarts and experience he can be the top fighter. look what he did to froch for most of the fight.

@SupaKidIsHere I think Taylor makes the Hall of Fame pretty easily. Putting him on a top 50 p4p list might be a little much as you'll find out if you ever make one. But I agree, he is a good fighter and a good guy and I hope he can make a comeback. If not, he has had a great career regardless.

he should take some middle rounds off. basically just try and hold and avoid damage while jabbing a little, that way he could come back on strong in the later rounds. he doesnt seem to be very good at clinching though...

When Taylor fights Arbraham he will have to control himself up to the 5th round Abraham is known for doing very little, he keeps his gaurd up and let his opponent box themselves out. Tayor should wait then after the 6th round put pressure with body shots and uppercuts when Abraham charges in, he should couter attack by the same token keep his gaurd up. The fight will be held in Germany meaning, he will never win the fight throught points, he will have to knock him out. If clever he will win.

Man I really hope mentally he can get his mind together. If he wins, I think he should be ok psychologically, BUT what kills me with him and you said it is his STAMINA!!! This fights all depends on Taylor's conditioning I think if he utilizes his speed works his Jab stays on the out side he will win, but not if he runs out of steam again in the later rounds

Abraham vs. taylor will be one of the most interesting fights of the year. In my opinion taylor is the first real opponent for abraham after miranda and gevor. i think if jermain can , like most people suggest, increase his passion for his profession and work harder to become a more conditioned fighter, then he could definately beat abraham in my eyes..i mean c'mon now..abraham got his jaw broken by edison miranda who compared to a 100% motivated jermain taylor couldnt compete with him.. conditioned JT> Arthur Abraham

taylor was an awesome fighter. just when he got to the top . he lost that hunger and stopped doing the thing that made him great,training. you can see that his performance was gettin worse after hopkins, , until he finally slumped down so much he was ready for the takin, and pavlik took him. his stamina is gettin worse and worse, showin his lack of training. taylor at his best would easily beat abraham, but taylor is now mentaly damaged from ko losses and will never be like he was befor,shame

Man I really hope mentally he can get his mind together. If he wins, I think he should be ok psychologically, BUT what kills me with him and you said it is his STAMINA!!! Every fight he lost is because he punched himself out. He kills me!!! You can tell he is getting tired in a fight because at the beginning his face look like a baby's bottom, but as soon as round 8 hits, he goes downhill. He let Froch hit him with some nonsense. He needs to work out with Paul Williams or Calzaghe or something!

Taylor is just athletic. Watch him fight he has NO FORM what so ever. He throws that right hand like hes shooting a bow and arrow. Its terrible.

This fights all depends on Taylor's conditioning I think if he utilizes his speed works his Jab stays on the out side he will win, but not if he runs out of steam again in the later rounds

Abraham vs. taylor will be one of the most interesting fights of the year. In my opinion taylor is the first real opponent for abraham after miranda and gevor. Taylor fought pavlik, hopkins and froch so he definitely has more experience, but will help that against abraham's strong punch? I doubt it.
