  • Awesome

  • Visit my chanel and check out my Bubba Watson compilation video!

  • 280000th view holy shit

  • wow huge. Only Gary Woodland is bigger on tour. I don't care what the stats say, Woodland is 5% longer-stats lie sometimes!

  • go to my channel and check out my lefty swing ppl!

  • he has never had a golf lesson.

  • Is it just me, or is that man flying from 0:52 - 0:56 !?

    Go Bubba!

  • i can hit it further

  • @ihateurvid lol

  • that tee kept going!!!

  • Currently 1st in driving distance and 1st in greens hit. Sounds like the best swing on tour to me.

  • @jeffy10028 when u can hit the ball off the tee that far hitting GIR's become that much easier.

  • quality

  • may not be the most consistent player cause he trys to bomb it evry time but shit is he fun to watch play, sunday he hit a 363 yard drive to a 20 yard wide fairway, NUTS!!!

  • @rossy17x the folks who invented golf would have the courses play at 10000 yards these days and have the hole be a peach basket if they saw how far people were hitting it. the challenge of the original game was reaching the green in a small amount of strokes, not so much short game and putting. technology has changed everything, the whole metagame.

  • Looks like a young Jack Nicklaus, big heel lift and replant, big lower body move, clears the hips hard, just kills it.

  • he hits the ball a long way because he swings the club. one of the few nowadays who still do. here's something to chew on...why should you make a conscious effort to make your front heel remain planted on the backswing when you obviously let your trail heel come off the ground in the downswing? no wonder this guy doesn't ask for instruction. i would imagine he'd lose all his distance. read the little red book.

  • LOL he's lifting after impact

  • He Could Catch That Tee If He Wanted To :P

  • boom

  • he is a great golfer, the only thing i personally do not like about his style of play is he works the ball way too much, which makes him second guess himself when he misses a rather "easy" (for pga players) approach shots. still an amazing golfer tho.

  • @haapamaki i agree he can get a little too fancy. I remember watching a tournament with him trying to reach a 330 yard par 4 playing a high cut, and of course came up short.

  • good 1 tim u faggot, anyways bubba got his a55 spanked at singles Ride Her cup

yankz close but no cigar, clutch putt by that irish faggot

  • how the fuck duz this skinny fag hit the ball so long? hes like 165lbs?

  • @kleptodathief lets fix this question and I'll answer it for you.

How the heck* does* this beast his the ball so long? He's not even that big!

Bubba hits it so far because his dick is so big he gets to fuck a lot of hot girls. This boosts his testosterone level so high that he can swing the club and an incredible speed resulting in a longer ball flight.

  • @kleptodathief If you have to ask that question, you must be blind.

  • i think he should man up and hit it properly lol

  • Played with Bubba growing up. cant watch him play because he turns the ball 30 yards on every shot! Then just when you think you can keep up with him he swings 100% and puts it 80 yards past you.

  • this guys ball shaping is RIDICULOUS i mean just wow..

  • GO BUBBA!!! With a name like that you never were going to have a normal swing..

  • @paultatters mmm i think you're wrong man . I train with the coach of Miguel Angel Jimenez (his brother) and he told me that Alvaro has dificults to shape the ball, he basically hits straight balls. thats why he struggles at Augusta every year

  • Amazing how Bubba lifts that front foot yet, after his huge arc, gets back into hitting position. 70 or 80 years ago the pro's got off their front heel like that, but they had pygmy swings and wooden shafts. People knock Bubba for being wired differently, but I'm betting he'll win majors some day with his easy as Sunday morning demeanor. Look how close he came in the 2010 PGA!

  • increible extension!

  • dude wtf is that ringing

  • 0:57 He's FLYING!!! haha

  • Amazing downswing sequence.

  • uhic uhic ama american citizen ahu!

  • For those of you involved in the Bubba vs. Alvaro debate, a reminder that the two of them will be playing the first two rounds of the PGA Championship together at Whistling Straits this week! I'll be following them!

  • autsch

    his bag after the impact.

  • @MAlatinboy

Have to dis agree with you, Bubba is talented but swinging the ball 30-40 yards in the air and hitting it 50 yards off line is impressive but not a winner, stick Bubba 40 yards back off the tee with the other guys and i reckon he would be no where unlike Alvaro who hits Hybrid on a regular basis and always competes, Alvaro is far better technically with most aspects of his game rounded and solid unlike Bubba

  • @KATAERO Only time will tell who is the more successful, but Alvaro has the more rounded game, is more mentally stable and has far far the better fundamentals, a win is a win but against a limited field at the travellers with everyone collapsing around him, I think it will be a good couple of seasons before he wins again if at all!

  • @paultatters Alvaro has great talent and a well-rounded game, but I'I say Bubba's better. Bubba hits it long and literally works the ball however he wants- he completely controls the ball. But he works all his shots- high low, fade, draw- so he does not really have a stock shot to fall back on. While it's not official, he probably has ADD. He has problems concentrating on the course and in regular life. He's either in the zone or all-over. So tragic that his talent is impeded by his condition.

  • No where near as good as Alvaro, yes Bubber is powerful but this swing could (and does) go anywhere

  • @paultatters, are you sure?

  • just power

  • Look at his foot action. It tells a big story about this guys swing. Not only does he lift his heel off the ground at the top of his swing, he also puts it back down on the downswing to lift it back up again !!

And if that wasnt enough....... the same right foot slips out towards the target on his follow through..........WOW. That enables him to have that HUGE extension. If he tried to swing like this without all that right foot action... he would break a rib or 2....... and maybe his back.

  • does bubba like black women? toothless tiger does not

  • walked with him at torry pines

  • i want to a protracer of this guy's ball

  • The average is 2 yards per m/h. so at 194mph, thats a 388 yard drive. however there is wind and sloping ground, so It will probably be lower.

  • Great swing! Check out the tee spinning in slo mo!

  • Amazing that he can control such a huge cut.

  • wow

  • IMPRESIONANTE........

  • wot is the pink shaft that he uses !!! its LUSH

  • its a bi matrix shaft from grafolloy. I have one and he made a very flat start the ball and lomg roll. but craffoloy stop produse this shaft.. The first 10 cm from outside Head are Steel and the rest of shaft are Graphite. Its a heavy shaft whit brutal bower. And you need power .... i am single Player 95 kg good technik tiltleist D2 Head 7,5°. I am always 40 m longer than my Friends.

  • that ball must of been sliced or hit 400+ yrds

  • It was probably both sliced and hit at least 350. But Watson knows it will slice and adjusts his aim, hoping it will stay in.

  • GET IN THE HOLE!!

  • kitten

  • i wouldnt mind his swing

  • you obviously do not look at PGA tour stats then.

  • LOL the tee after impact

  • eventhough he already is extremely long, it surprises me he isn't even longer. He should bee able to give Jason Zuback a match the way he's swing looks. Bubba's swing is one of the most powerful swing iv'e ever seen.

  • your right the announcer said 194 ball speed but zubacks fastest was clock around 204

  • his tee flips 12 times before they cut out. It is spinning in front of his face at the end.

  • yet no wins on tour

    its all about short game

    true golfers knoe this

  • I see your point and everything, but he is on tour making pretty decent money. I think that qualifies him as a true golfer. If he had no short game, he'd be a hack like me :)

  • MyNameIsBucket:

The follow through is a result of the swing. They say follow through because if you will swing with that in mind. If you swing correctly, you have no choice but to follow through.

  • look at his feet at 25-40 is he a ballet dancer?(he could make more dough)

  • I never understood the significance of the follow-through. The ball is in contact with the club face for a whole 20 milliseconds; after that, you might as well throw the club, pirouette in the air and land on your face. It won't make a lick of difference in the path of the ball.

  • So true. Its just a result of his anatomy and what he did before the hit and so on. Its what hes gotta do unless he wants to tip over or hit his own a** with the club.

  • your follow through can tell you about your swing prior to impact; things about balance, swinging through the ball etc., it's not that the follow through itself is so important.

  • ...not to mention that attempting to do anything far outside orthodoxy (pirouetting, etc.) would necessitate a pre-impact change. Now, throwing the club down the fairway is a different matter; that's been tried (with pretty remarkable success, actually) as a way of getting people to learn a free, full release. I'm not kidding. You may already know that.

  • your follow thru is a product of your backswing and impact. its a cause and effect and measure of your flexibility.

  • I agree 100%. The follow through just promotes a good swing from start to finish.

  • thats not completely true, everything that happens in the golf swing is a result of what has happened before, if he were to stop dead after he hit the ball, then that would of meant he would be slowing the swing dwon before hand, so the follow through is vitally important

  • he has unreal strength and flexability in his hips and core muscles, nevermind his shoulders/legs and the extreme angles he retains into impact. thats an athlete right there.

  • Aunque Bubba le pega largo,el pato Cabrera me parece que lo supera

  • This swing scares me.

  • wow that looks painful, very flexible dude right there

  • The worst part? That pink shaft? He chose it purely for sh*ts and giggles. I believe he said he though it would be cool to outdrive everyone using a pink shaft...

  • Thats some unreal flexibility

  • i meet Bubba he is one of the nicest golfers on your . my uncle and my cousin played with him at the pracice round at the Doutche Bank Champion

  • 194mph ball speed?

Are you fucking kidding me!? HAHAHA. Holy crap. That is just sick.

  • Check out his full hip turn. I like it. I used to restrict my hip turn to 45*. Now I make a full turn with my hips and the result???....a ton more power and no slice.

  • What a swing lol check mine out and give me some comments cheers

  • tiger a litlle cat ?

    bubba, how many majors ?

  • YOU are one hundred percent right.

  • I agree completely

  • Impressive. His drives make Tiger looks like a little cat.

  • what a baller

  • Not the prettiest swing but if you hit it 316 yards on average like he's been doing this year then why not!

  • Yeah... his stats are up in my club in the locker room just to rub your face in it when you walk in. 360 carry on some of his drives.

  • watching him hit a golf ball in person is amazing

  • his big key is as he unwinds his lower body, his upper body doesnt move much, which creates sooooo much torque...which he obviously releases all into impact....its the seperation between shoulders and hips

  • Oh yeah, and shoulder rotation way past 90 degrees.

  • The commentator should have mentioned the extreme strong grip, bowed wrist at the top and the fact that he keeps the club face square to the swing path throughout the entire swing. He has a lot of lower body movement because of these things. Very rare swing, but obviously effective.

  • Amazing! - Although its all physics. Tiger and Bubba both have the same swing speed roughly but Bubba uses a 6.5 degree driver compared to Tigers 8.5. With Bubba launch angle perfect for this loft as he manages to keep his weight behind the ball through the swing. This creates less ball spin and add carry. Its like hitting a tennis ball. If you want to hit it farthest and fastest you hit it sqaure on rather than back spin which is ineffect what hiher loftewr drivers are doing. SMASH IT!

  • 215 yards, down the middle!

  • haha. he hits the ball longest on tour. longer than john daly, longer than tiger woods and longer than camillo villegas, longer than hank kuehne! And he is able to play good golf look at the us open 2007: he is after the third round under the best 10.

  • 215 yards with a 6 iron for him

probly about 340 with the driver

  • Cool. Check out the tee after impact, still flying up in the sky. That's a heck of speed!!

  • is that ironic??

it's the best swing i've ever seen! i love it.

  • Now, THAT's what I wanted to see.. A an analysis of Bubba Watson swing... Thanks soooo much.. !

  • No sh**, Ive been searching for that. I hope someone does a really cool sequence of him
