I've got a question. I'm going to see Equus this saturday and I was wondering; after the play... how long does it take till it's crowded like this and how long after the play was it when he came out? And; do people like, RUN, when the play is finished to the stage door or what? Somebody please help me!

I think people are saying hes rude b/c of the one fan he skipped over her at 1:13- & continies holding the paper till 1;55 She says she a huge fan and has a whole website of him ....but he says sry
That's crazy, with so many people there it's impossible to see everyone and not jump someone, and it's impossible to know what she says to him, don't invent things. At the end someone brings him the paper and he signs it. He is been very nice and polite, I've never seen someone famous been so nice with the fans. Plus, what maybe some of you don't know it's that some people there are autoghaps hunters and he prefers to sign autographs to the real fans, which I think it's really nice of him.
He signed her autograph, that girl has an Italian website, and if you visite her site you'll see Dan's autograph and how happy she is with Dan. So don't be senseless. He just said he would just sign one each so he can sign to more people, which it's obviously very nice of him. :)

My daughter and I were also there that evening -- I'm the woman who keeps saying "Excuse my flash right in your face, Daniel" You can see my hand coming in and out of the video with my camera. My daughter is the voice that you hear saying "Ow, Ow". Dan asked the crowd not to push because her ribs were practically impaled on the barrier. I do have pictures -- from that night and 2 other nights that we went to see Equus. Write to me if you'd like.
I can't believe anyone thinking that was rude!!?? He only signed one thing each because, as he said, that was fair. He asked people not to push because of his concern for the crowd getting trampled. He said thank you about 50 times. And then his handlers had to pretty much drag him away. So tell me...what was rude about that?
He's not being rude. I'm not famous, nor do I give autographs but I've received enough of them to know that it's mostly the manager or the security who wants things to go as quickly and smoothly as possible.
OMG! I can't believe I found this video - I am in this video! You didn't by any chance film anything before this? Just before this video started he gave me a hug! He really wasn't rude. I waited for 5 hours and he came straight to me, hugged me and even recognised me from the matinée. The reason he was being that way is because the night before was complete chaos and got quite dangerous.
I thought he was INCREDIBALY polite! He was asking them not to push, if you want to say that was rude, or saying he would just sign one each (understandable as it was obviously late and he wouyld want to get to everyone) and he even apologized for that. Very stand-up if you ask me!

I loveeee his accent! Someone was like "you were so good!"
and he was like "thank you!"
