1. don't cite wikipedia as a research source; it's not a primary source, nor is it scholarly. 2. if you actually read the Holy Bible instead of just listening to the pope, you'd realize that most of Bible prophecy lines up with the atrocities of the catholic church, as well as the fact that the pope claims to be the "Vicar of Christ," and "holds the office of God on earth." there is no way you can refute the truth, the catholic church is the anti christ; it rules rome.

I find it funny that the pope claims infallibility which means he is without error, which means he is without sin, which means he is saying he is one in the same as Jesus Christ for the Bible says only one man was found spotless and thats Christ Jesus. Christ did not establish the RCC. Soma say he is only infallible when it comes to religious matters, so does he turn his infallibility off and on when he so pleases? that right there shows u the audacity of the RCS(s for system)

@cathaustralia uhm, he really didn't refute anything. bible prophecy clearly states that the antichrist is someone who puts himself before God and blasphemes against God. The pope states that he IS God on earth (read your canons on papal law if you don't believe me) and claims to be the "vicar of Christ", with the ability to forgive sins. the bible clearly states that only JESUS can forgive sins, and the pope is not Jesus. not to mention the idol worship, the prayers to mary... so yeah..
