  • AYA ITSA BRUNO!

  • The first half of this clip, I wondered whether this was even a scary movie. Was almost expecting to see a clown crying on the beach. Then it got better thankfully.

  • just watched beyond the door so wanna see number 2

  • Libra soundtrack is really nice! Awesome movie, great director!

  • is that Daria Nicolodi?

  • カッターナイフで自殺する場面は、大友克洋が「童夢」で剽窃している。

  • Wow the effect with the kid running at her is awesome never seen that in any movie before.

  • I've seen this. It's a consistently entertaining and creepy Burnt Offerings-like, Shining-like film. I was really pleased with it. And you can tell where Asia Argento gets her sexy genes!

  • WTF is happening at 0.58???!!!???

  • Coolest moment comes at 2:58

  • @thejobloshow I agree. But it's too bad that moment was contained in the trailer. It's such a brilliant and shocking moment, but when you know it's coming, it ruins the surprise.

  • This movie is very scary. But the italian audio and the music are of such bad quality that its better to watch it silent. seriously

  • what is this music?

  • what a fucking good movie!!!!

  • Is it just me or in 1977 did Italian movie studios go into a shit rip off horror film over load??

  • Hmm I dunno, you sure about that, I mean like 100%???

  • minty, to answer your question about italian cinema, back in the mid to late 70's many countries wanted american style action and horror films but couldnt afford to rent hollywoo movies, And many people who couldnt make it in hollywood needed jobs. Italy opened its doors to anyone who wanted to make films so long as they got a percentage of the gross profits. The result was a slew of american style actionhorror movies came from italy.

  • Bava un gigante poco ricordato per sempre il maestro

  • Mario Bava was the master of horror this is my second favorite horror only film that beats it is Dont Look Now

  • This is a really great horror film I dont know why people mock it. I love the scene with the giant box cutter knive.

    Schock rules

  • Coool porn tunes,,,but the movie is freaky, the boy turning into a man,,,,scary

  • porn tunes?.... retard.

  • fuck u retard

  • Ha,ha! I loved the "step on the rake" shot. I instantly thought of Sideshow Bob.

  • John Steiner is a legend.

  • This was his last move. Where can I get it?

  • Amazon or dvdempire.

  • This is one of the earliest movies I remember seeing at the Drive-in as a child.

The scene where the boy turns into a grown man is the frightening part that stuck in my memory.

  • This is a really creepy film.

  • just asking, but what does that sculpture of a hand making the "made ya look" sign have to do with the film?

  • Really I don't know... :)

  • It moves on its own at one point. It's a symbol of her old life with her first husband (the boy's father).

I gotta say Daria Nicolodi could never birth such an ugly child!! Great film though. Sometimes billed as "Beyond the Door 2" You can get it for about £3.

  • That crap has been cut in, stay away from it.

  • @johncarpenter1980 might be irony, like, they're having sex when they show it. so it's sort of a prank on the viewer

  • @johncarpenter1980 SPOILER ALERT! The woman in the film looks "shocked" when she sees it hidden in the couch. I think it may have been a sculpture that a dead character in the film may have made or owned. The character is haunting the house.

  • It seems very interesting, besides of Nicolodi and that soundtrack!

  • I adore Daria Nicolodi. I wish there were more of her films available. BTW anyone in the UK looking for this fabulous film can find it under the misleading title of "Beyond the Door 2"

  • That skeleton logo at the beginning of the trailer is the exact same one used in the U.S. trailer for 'Carnage' (the original U.S. title for Mario Bava's Bay of Blood), (Also available here on youtube, btw). I wonder if Shock had the same U.S. distributor as Carnage?

  • Yes, it's really the same skull! Anyway the US distributor was different: Anchor Bay for "Shock" and Hallmark Releasing for "Bay of blood". So, why the same skull? Really I don't know! Maybe a sort of sign for Bava? :)

  • I love so musch this movie!

Mario can come in america but he wouldn't!!!!

He's one of the most greatest filmaker in the world!!!!

Johncarpenter1980....nice nick!!! Carpenter is my second favourite director!!!!!

  • We had Hitchcock, Italy had Bava.

  • Ohh thumbs down!!!!! You can have Hitch - he was a bit of a perv.

  • Nice post! Love this movie, I haven't seen it in a long time. Love Bava films!
