Yes there is. "Moog" and later "Moge" (which got out of disuse, same root as "vermogen" meaning power/ability/capital) means someone who (has a family member who has) great power and influence.

actually, here in holland we pronounce the "g" the same way as "ch" so it's not really "moch" but like the o in vogue, but with a hard g(or ch).
