To beat hyper punchers keep going to the body and drain their stamina, so their punches have less speed and power. Then when they try to run away to regain stamina chase them and do low and high shots and try not to let them regain any stamina, they may try to clinch just keep the punches coming and a headbutt is good to keep the pressure on too! Or low blow+haymaker uppercut combo! this will rock them, then go for the kill!

Dude here's a tip: Go to the body, weave in (time it) counter bodyshot, then a couple of left right body shots on the inside then quickly step back+lean back+block low (this opens a counter window) then straight right counter! The best defensive counter move is: Quick step back+lean back+block low. The quick step back+lean back (avoids highshots) + block low (perfect blocks a low shot) this defends both high or low shots simultaneously, opening a counter window. Do the movement in a fast.

Anybody i've ever seen fight with Tyson has had the worst defense and counterpunching i've ever seen. With Tyson you have to be wary of the fact that you have all the power in the world, but only with a couple of shots a piece. You have to find your counterpunch and go to war hamme rand tongs once you get it, but make sure you make em miss you and your stamina, or you're toast all day. A very difficult task for noobs just picking up the game. This aint round 3 kids :).

Not everyone likes the Analog BS stick bro. Alot of people hate it cuz it doesnt respond EXACTLY the way you want. Using buttons you can do EXACTLY what you want. If you like ir,more power to you,I just think its stupid not to have the option to use the buttons

i know but it prevents button mashing. Stick mashers are easy to counter if you weave their jabs and straits cause they never go to the body. the only punch i have trouble with is the right uppercut

they should have the option to use either or.... at first i didnt like it and some situations it doesnt respond like it suppose to. for example its plenty on times where i can jus dance around, block, and counter punches and as i counter a couple of punches not tryin to hit back but just to taunt my opponent... but my boxer will sometimes punch back.
