I have a Velbon CX480. Its abit to light. but still very good. Look at my most recent spotting video's to see the result. But every Velbon from 50€ up is very good.

battery lifetime sucks, just 30-40 mins. So I got three. I sold the HD2. But it was still working and it always did. Its a very sturdy camera.

Id need to know the situation, but the microfoon is very sensitive and will catch every sound.

It isn't! :P just get a good video panning tripod. The mount is like every other camera.

I just bought one. It was footage such as yours that persuaded me. Even on youtube this hand held gets excellent results.
