Notice how Keaton doesn't expound philosophically on crap? Cuz, he's Batman, he's not Socrates. He does what he does bc he has too, not for some 'squared-jaw' hero pose noble 'ideal'. Keaton's portrayal of Batman/Bruce to screen is the most accurate bc, a real Batman wouldn't talk to so much. And he definitely wouldn't wax poetic about why he does it, that would lead to a 'cure' to his angst, he doesn't want that.

@TheDissident77 This is absolutely right, I quote you 100%!!! Batman is a dark character who lives in the shadows, he doesn't speak much and those few words are just to express basic concepts!! Nolan's movies are great, but they should be titled something like "The Black Avenger" or "Winged Freak", because this is definitely not Batman!!!
