  • duuuude this is crazy! how are you that talented? i'm jellin

  • @seattlegirl1107 Hey thanks! :)

Some comments here earlier said that it's some kind of trick like speeded up or stop motion, etc. I cannot understand - I have been rehearsing daily since I started playing 3,5 years ago (this Fiocco tape is actually from May 2010 when I was 9). Would be strange if it did not show at all! Talent is nothing without practicing!

  • Rafaello!!! Your interpretation is so amazing for your age. Very good intonation and technique!!!!

  • its totally stop motion!

  • best player under 11 on youtube, not a note out of tune very impressive for your age

  • Rafaello , love your music ! I'm studying violin now at 40 and it's so difficult to me How many hours you practice by day? Your left hand is incredible !!!

  • Hi! Raffaello has been practicing daily, several hours a day: a bit in the morning - more in the afternoon - and again a bit in the evening. This video is recorderd "eons" ago, when Raffaello had been playing the violin for less than two years. Raffaello still really likes playing fast pieces! Speed has nothing to do with quality, but it is good to have speed in reserve, for special occasions! A few people seem to be convinced this recording is sped up... Thanks ;)

  • Una maravilla el dominio musical y la expresividad de este hermoso pequeño. POne mucho sentimiento y virtuosismo.

    Nació para el violín...

Felicito a los padres también, por estimular semejante don..

saludos de Gaby de Mendoza -Argentina

  • Why was i completely mind fucked by how amazing this was? O_O

  • Holy crap the audio is faster than the audio you play so fast and well!!!

  • waiting ... and waiting ... for more MrRaffaello.

Let us hear sth. new Raffanini !!

  • wow

  • Dude where u learn violin with this level ?

  • what violin artist made your violin? I am curious to know!

  • Hi Raffaello, thanks for answering. I'm from Germany, 44 y old and playing piano with lessons for three years. I'm going to accompany a violinist playing that piece next week and I looked for a video to practise. But you're definately too fast for me. But the way you play is even more joy to listen withot a piano rumbling in the background.

Let's hear more of you (and Leonardo), Tervehdys ...

  • its fake the video is speeded up...

  • @TheBtkiller Hey man, that's kind of a great compliment...!!! :) - and I am also somewhat faster now, 10 months later!! But speed is not the thing anyway, even if it is fun.

  • @MrRaffaello

Man, this is so -- great. Look at all the stylish chinese girls and boys who try to play violin and when you listen to them, you realize, they are just robots being pushed by their parents since they are 3 Years old... When I listen to you, I hear you feeling the music and above all, loving the thing you're doing. And you remained a boy.

When did you start and how old are you now ? I think you're from Italy (looking at the house outside) and your parents are at least pavarotti ?

  • @kexkrueml2 :)))) Thank you for the compliments!!! Raffaello is 10 years old and Iives in Helsinki, Finland (what you see outside of the window is a famous street in Helsinki that is also known as "little Paris"...). He started less than three years ago, and as you pointed out, loves what he's doing!. Raffaello is multinational (Italian too), and his father actually was a singer in his youth.

  • @MrRaffaello Three years only ? and this level ? My god, what conservatory do he play ?

He trains a lot, no ? To have this level, just talent is not sufficient .

  • @kexkrueml2 Lol I agree with the robot part. Atleast I'm not a robot :D. I hope...

  • @TedWang2

are you Cinese ? O I'm sorry, are you at YouTube ?

  • @TedWang2

are you Cinese ? O I'm sorry, are you at YouTube ?

  • @TheBtkiller that's not a bad thing. even with it sped up, it is still magnificent.

  • @TheBtkiller You have no clue what you're talking about. I would just shut up if I were you...

  • fake

  • @cabitex

what did Schroeder (peanuts) answer, when he was asked, how the hell he could play Beethoven at a children-piano, which black keys are not real but just painted on wood ?

"Practise, practise, practise ..." and love for Beethoven, of course...

  • This is really fantastic, Rafaello, the way you play Fiocco! I started with this piece a few weeks ago and am finding it very difficult, especially the trills in the mid section. It is good you started so young; I was nearly 52 when I had my first lesson, and then everything goes a lot slower.

One day I hope to hear you play in concert. Very best wishes and lots of success!

  • @comenato DANK U ZEER!! :)

  • Comment removed

  • O.O you are the best!!! you play fiocco's song very ver y fast .... i'm not english xD

  • @stonatello4ever

Grazie ;) Il mio maestro vorrebbe che suonassi più lento... Ed io obbedisco, a parte forse su questo video...!
