Even though it's a trilogy, I'm convinced that there's a fourth song or fifth. What happens to him? I know many people have said that Mr. Brightside has nothing to do with it but, he's coming out his cage(jail). And in Under the Gun they mention she isn't coming back and she can only set him free. Like the song goes right after midnight show and he has second thoughts. they also mention heaven alot in under the gun.

I also read Jenny Was A Friend of Mine as him being questioned by police after being arrested rather than actually being on trial.

I think that it means that she couldnt scream when he held her close, like as if she never screamed because she was safe in his arms and he swore he wud never let her go :D Yay The killers!

i think that jenny was a friend of mine is the interrogation, and that whisper in my ear thing is the detective pretty much telling him hes not buying it and he knows what hes trying to do, its classic detective intimidation
