You really need to fix your levels, when you talk it's really quiet, when you play it's even quiter, but the "montage music" is LOUD. Near impossible to watch late at night, either I can't hear you talking or the music that comes now and then is so loud I'm waking up neighbours...
@Programentalist I understand. I have been working on that to make it better, but ultimately I'm not an editor and can't work Final Cut as seamlessly as I'd like. I will be much more mindful of that in future vids.
@houseofblackbirds You're probably familiar with some audio software though? Why not simply open the music you use in the video in any audio editor and lower the volume to better match your own audio, should be very simple.
I always can't tell whether your ending smile is enthusiastic or devilish LOL Just kiddin. Thanks, this is what I need, it gives me an simple ideal on how to do a counter melody.
@chrisbelato You are correct! I fixed it later though. I also wrote a G in bar 5 when it should have been an F in the bass, but I will fix that as well. High five for scrutiny!
Hey do you have the awesome books from Walter Piston? In relation to this video, Harmony - AWESOME books, only time is stopping me from continuing my composition training, yeah self taught.

@OCUBOX I'll have to check out the Piston--it's one I don't have. I'm self taught as well.
