  • Is their anything better than a Fat Man and his Piano?? I dont think so Love Fats

  • Really great stories you guys have.. I'm happy to be able to upload this song for you guys. I always play this for my mom. She has met Fats Domino many times before since we live in Louisiana. She always sings along and dances.. they don't have music like this anymore.. Enjoy everybody!

  • After 10 years, I finally find this song again where I grew up with (yes I'm only in my 20's). GREAT song.

  • This song means so much to me. It reminds of the Christmas when I was a teenager and found a Fats Domino album for my Dad. That was the early 70's and 50's music was hard to find. My Dad grabbed my Mom and they slow danced to "Walking to New Orleans." In 2002, my Dad was in the Emergency room with Pneumonia and not expected to live. I held his hand and sang "Walking to New Orleans." He opened his eyes and looked up at me for what would be the last time.

  • @ccasia2008 - Fats Domino is a pioneer of Rock 'n' Roll. He is a respected man and musician here in the U.S. and we love him!! If it wasn't for him, popular music wouldn't exist today.

I don't know what it's like in your country, but here in the U.S we don't tolerate the N-word.

    Yours sincerly, Thomas

  • I saw Fats at the Academy Of Music on E. 14th st. N.Y.C. in the early 70's. He performed this 2nd to last. This song made me love the violin and soul at the same time. He usually closes with "the Saints go Marching In" ,which takes about 10 min. A TRUE LEGEND

    Such a great singer!!

  • When my cousin was about 3 years old, her mama took her to the Red Pig in Concord, NC. Little Kathy walked up to a man and said....Hey Fats. The man put her on his lap and Aunt Barbara almost fainted....It was Fats Domino.....I still get a kick out of this memory.....Cindy

  • I Met Fats and his manager on a plane heading to Dallas Tx i asked for his autograph i treasured it for many years i guess my ex still has it knowing what meant to me

  • oh cry me a river babe if u want it go and get it

  • One of best AND STILL going!

  • WHEN THE LEVESS BROKE

  • But I can't understand y'all that changed to this BETA scheisse. That MUST be that worst ''invention' so far on YT. Gotta get my time machine in order - H.G. Wells old school - pick up Fats on his way to New Orleans (loooong before Katrina!) and stop at 2008 or so and chop that morons head who invented BETA. And this haven't happened yet.

  • Sunny and warm weather. You get into the car. Hard top down and ride down in a comfortable pace. This one playing and you are on your way to (my blue) heaven.

  • Great idea!

  • No, a warm summer night, top down, and 50's on the radio......

  • Ok, summer nite works swell too, cruisin and pick up, depending on mood; cool mood, "Travelin' Man", in a rockin' mood; "I'm Walkin" or in frenzy, well what about "Fats Frenzy" or Bop-A-Lena" by Ronnie Self? You don't get 'em much wilder!

  • Can't think of a nicer way to spend a summer evening..........too bad my husband doesn't have a romantic bone in his body.............

  • Never thought this was romantic but just, well, something for a natural born lover. lol. Yeaa...that one by Fats, "Natural Born Lover" is soo good, in my mind even better than this, Walking... On his '...A Lot of Dominos!' LP from 1960. Incredible long being from that era, 4:20 but every second of it is sheer pleasure. That one or Prof Longhair's "Mardi Gras in New Orleans". Or all of them blasting from the radio while you cruise down to New Orleans with your dear one by your side. Heaven!

  • OK, now this "Natural Born Lover" is a favorite too! Thanks........

  • Absolutely one of THE GREATEST songs I've heard in my 53 years on this earth!!!

The KING of New Orleans, without a doubt!!

  • In my 53 years too! Loved him since a little girl!

  • One of my favorite songs by fats domino
