The fire represents the Pyro's place in the universe-destructive, yet essential. The present represents life-fragile, but can surprise many people in many ways. The fact that it is burning shows that Pyro's quiet times are nearing their end. The uber represents our refusal to let him/her/it die.
The Ubercharge represents calming power, the present represents a pleaseant exchange, and the burning of the present means the bitterness of receiving a gift that you just wanna scream out, "WHY THE HELL WOULD I WANT THIS?!"

The Uber Pyro came to realize that fire was more then a primitive tool of destruction. He had finally found peace within himself.
As the pyro gazes intently on the flaming object, a vague memory surfaces. A flashback of that beautifully dancing little orange teardrop, held gracefully by a candlewick.
She searches vainly for the gift of love, alas her deformity is her only companion, and the only love she will ever know is that of setting her desires aflame.
Ahhh how the pyro cleans the field of all those useless pawns.....how he brings serenity to those seeking a clam place to withdraw......how he is the very embodiment of all that is peace and war......how he is the pyro...
its because it reminds one of sitting by a fireplace...listening to an old record....enjoying the serenity of life as a human knows it.......and how easily it can be removed in a single instant.
Ironically, the uber pyro has a repuation for causing sanity destroying moments of terror for people in cozy, tight rooms. And yet here we are, enjoying this comfortable 5 minutes with the uber pyro, yet perpetually unaware of the true nature of our muffled host. How poetic, for this is the true nature of all people.

the pyro is a deep and symbolic and awe-inspiring class..... their words are a bit hard to comprehend and a great pyro will leave nothing but ashes and a few withheld tears for those who will be put to rest.....
