"The negative claims of pseudo-skeptics who offer facile explanations must themselves be subject to criticism. If a competent witness reports having seen something tens of degrees of arc in size (as happens) and the scoffer, who of course was not there -- offers Venus or a high altitude weather balloon as an explanation, the requirement of extraordinary proof for an extraordinary claim falls on the proffered negative claim as well."
What this doctor says at 1:30 on this clip is stupid. The reason could be for different shaped UFO's is there could be MANY different species visiting Earth each with different space crafts and technology. Also their space craft may have evolved/up dated through the years like our vehicles have.
'Anyone who suggests that UFOs are anything but alien spacecraft soon finds out how it feels to be taken apart by a pack of flesh-ripping religious weasels.'
This! This disclosure! There are literally thousands of witnesses to UFO's and aliens. They can't all be delusional. If you haven't read it I suggest you read DW's Endgame Disclosure. It's fascinating. You may not agree. That's fine. But I for one am excited about our future!
cutikitten, yepp - let's have a break: "There are .. thousands of witnesses to UFO's and aliens.". Correct is, there are many UFO-sightings, since the acronym means unidentifiyed flying object and applies, whenever people saw unusual appearances, they can't explain due to insufficient data. However, there is not one single tangible and unambigous proof, ET-visitation took ever place on earth or elsewhere in our solar system. So, Disclosure demands are useless attempts of misguided people.
@debrainwasher BINGO! We have a winner! Thanks for saying this. It needs to be said a lot more often. There is plenty of evidence for unidentified flying objects. There is zero evidence to support the extraterrestrial hypothesis. Not one shred. Just hearsay and wild speculation.
@parlezuml Unfortunately, UFO-crazies, living in their virtual alternative reality of delusions, are completly unimpressed by facts. They are not aware of the current situation, all govts on this planets are so much concerned about the eso-exo-ufoistic conspiracytainment industry, they reduce or shut down even serious astrobiological efforts or manned space travel, since the general populace can't longer cope with contemporary space science. China will be the big winner in this business too.
Most military officers, pilots and airline pilots are not claiming that "aliens" are behind a given Unidentified Flying Object, AKA: "UFO". They simply want them to be properly investigated. We have FOIA documented examples of UFO investigations being blocked and lies told. A debunker doesn't want UFOs to be investigated because of whatever un-noble reasons and they've not been able to present a shred of verifiable counter evidence for their own wild claims with many major case UFOs>
@lllwindrunner Like I said, UFOs are probably a real phenomenon, but there's not a shred of evidence that they're extraterrestrial in origin. I didn't say they weren't worthy of scientific study. And what evidence could a non-believer present to demonstrate the non-existence of something? A photo of "no flying saucers anywhere ever", perhaps? Typical response from true believers is to demand proof from people who don't believe their claims, which is a fallacy.
When NASA got called into court and lost the case trying not to give up the Kecksberg UFO files or when O’Hare airport officials in 2006 said they never talked to pilots about a UFO on the day that about 50 airline employees reported it and then got caught in a lie via FOIA obtained tower recordings, this is clear evidence of cover-up activity and nothing anecdotal. So it's time to figure out why this sort of thing keeps happening and why some people are trying to halt real progress.
But parlezuml, even after all this, you'd still also have to consider that your strongest UFO evidence may likely become thoroughly confiscated if you find it and try to get it to your local news agency simply because they will need to fact check your material with higher authorities before running the story. Can you imagine that the political impact of such a find would be concerning to them as well as many other nations? This entire situation is simply not that black and white now is it?
We entrust our lives with airline pilots and people that guard our nuclear missile bases and plenty of them have reported UFOs. Radar ops and police officers have reported them "in sync" with pilots and other people on the ground. Do we want freaked-out pilots flying us around or people guarding our nuclear weapons if this many of them are hallucinating? No way! So even for a skeptic this is very major news raising questions of mental competence at very important jobs OR we investigate UFOs.
@lllwindrunner My best hypothesis is that you cannot make a credible scientific hypothesis based on anecdotal eyewitness testimony and one or two blurry photos. I don't know what happend in these incidents, and neither do you because you weren't there and there's nothing to see except one or two blurry photos of "something". I'm not saying UFOs aren't real - they probably are, and are worthy of properly funded serious scientific study. But I don't make leaps about what they are based on hearsay
? Did you even look up those cases? I listed the cases that went beyond anecdotal testimony or photos and I can also give you documented examples of the proper research for evidence being stone walled, faked or quickly shut down. Plenty of major UFO cases are more than simply "eye witness". Many register as solid hits on multiple radar screens in synch with multiple pilots air radar. Pilots officially documented being ordered to chase and shoot down UFOs is also nothing anecdotal>

Art sometimes reflects reality for e.g Belgium UFO Wave (1989-1991) then they started showing triangle UFOs in The X Files series (1993-2002)
