well in truth if you go in the army and get screwed up in Iraq, then you screwed up your life, and the VA will do as little as they can to take care of you once you have been hurt. just look at history of the VA, and do your research not only on the branch you sign up for. Do your research on how you will be treated when you get hurt and if the VA will take care of you after you get hurt. We have to fight for our meds worse then the medicaid people that have never even worked do.

This is just stupid. But everyone should know that all recruiters are not like this. These guys are just stupid. Until you go back to MEPS that last time before shipping, you can change your mind. It is also not all the recruiters fault. When you go in there, you should do as much research as possible. Talk to other Marines or Soldiers. Take another one with you when you go if you want. I grew up by Ft. Campbell.All I did was ask any soldier I saw about his experience in the Army. It's simple.

WTF?!! I loveeee how that Army recruiter leaves a voicemail saying that "By Federal Law you got an appointment with me...blah blah blah...you fail to appear we'll have a warrant." I have never heard such big bullshit from a recruiter before! As long as you haven't sworn in and signed the contract that recruiter couldn't have done shit about it.

i spent 8 years in the military... and i never heard one soldier say a good thing about a recruiter... they all lie, every last damn one of them... I would have joined anyway, but my recruiter lied. Ahhh. Another American tactic to get more troops. First they lower their qualification standards and now they tell high school age KIDS that they will put out a warrant for their arrest if they don't show up at the recruiters office. Very Classy ARMY.
