  • This pastor is standing in front of a background that says, "Luke's Gospel: Investigating The Man Who is God"

    Does that bother anyone else?

  • @marks661man It's like you said~ Bullshit is bullshit. Christians know in their hearts, they believe in complete bullshit. But once you've invested so much time, energy and pride into believing something that so nonsensical, you cant even spend ONE SECOND entertaining opposing views. You have to SQUASH THEM. And you have to do it fast. Which is no different from the ignorant 33LP records of bad Baptist preachers my parents used to listen to. All BS, brimstone and fear, no substance whatsoever.

  • @marks661man @MissMetalMelissa Ur both proceeding from the premise that religious types bullshit about paranormal events they may have witnessed to help bolster the credibility of their faith. After the exchanges Ive had here, Im starting to think that most of these ppl are latently unaware of their dishonesty. Theyve already made big leap of faith in buying creationism, Babel, Noah, etc. Now the prescient task is cementing around it with pseudo-science and semantics, as to wall out any dissent.

  • ur reading 2much into their psychology. B.S is B.S, no matter how u spin it. ive talked w/progressive christians who admit they do accept the msg of christ &take him as their savior. but they cannot abide by historicity of OT/KJB as it simply cannot be taken literally. &that even w/its incongruencies &deference 2science, the foundations of their faith are not shaken. imo, thats a much more honest &evolved method of faith. soapbox literalists like MD r basically dooming the church w/their folly.

  • HOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYY SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! APPLE ON THE COVER!!!!!!!11111ONE IT'S EVIL!!!!!!

  • @brianodeci08 the usual personal attack. just shows your position would fail without it. that's too bad.

  • @Falkon85 dude seriously, just move on. you and your tired arguments, are clearly done here. your proclamations are irrelevant. my opinion is based on methodical, peer-reviewed FACT. yours is based off of farsical beliefs that even a 5 year old would know are fairy tales. youre an adult, who believes in fairy tales. think about that for a second. &stop being so condescending. it just makes you look that much more foolish, in light of how badly you fared here and most likely, in life in general.

  • Color me elitist. But I dont think I'll be taking any advice on how to avoid the "AA-CULT"..from someone who can't even pronounce the word properly. Driscoll is just another redneck in Macy's clothes, who lost his twang accent and gained credibility with other rubes. Now he owns a very profitable business from branding God. I heard the word integrity mentioned somewhere in here previously. Listening to 30 seconds of this vid, I can confidently say that Driscoll has absolutely ZERO integrity.

  • Hes not 16, hes 109. Gosh.

  • Amazing is that my book hasn’t been ripped apart yet, it’s because it’s not famous enough, and that’s the bottom line, I’m a believer, and I used slight mythical characters and blended scripture within a davinci code vs. Highlander stylistic approach, with sword play, violence and immortal dark Lords that pray on believers. But once it sells a million or so copies, it may and only then, will get ripped into. Popular culture, even Christians play the popularity stakes, pardon the vampire pun!

  • my problem with this video is he isnt preaching the gospel all he is doing and in almost everyone of his videos is ragging on things people enjoy i didn't hear one thing about how to treat others or love god all i heard is don't so this dont do that ...and its funny because if u were to go to a really church they wear suits not a plaid shirt trying to fit in to the world ! i love god but i hate religion...religion just causes hate and if u think differently than thats ur opinion

  • @RCKRobbie Did you watch the sermon ? You`re watching 8 minutes of a sermon and you say it`s not gospel centred ? Watch the sermon and then comment that his sermons are not gospel centred... watch his sermons and then say that they are not about the love of God. I think these videos are just for people than want to know what Driscoll said about stuff in his sermons. I don`t want to fight but I think that Driscoll has very good sermons about God`s love, I really enjoyed them

  • @scrap222666 you no what's funny how you don't no me at all and you make assumptions.. my FAITH is the only thing I have and care about ..I speak for the ones who r weak in their beliefs.. so don't use phycology on someone you don't no or even talked to it makes you seem ignorant and uninformed thank you.. GOD bless ;)

  • Its funny how non believers always comment on christian videos...why do you care if i have faith and love the word? Why does it bother you SO much that you have to tear apart the onlything that keeps TRUE believers going ?...we wont change neither will you...accept that

  • @BeccaLoves2013 It's funny cause you kind of admit that commenting on these videos somehow affects your faith and love for the world. Why else would you comment that people should stop doing this. First person to think internet comments will stop as YOU made a comment.

  • Anyone could easily say that the angel who came to view the Virgin Mary in the New Testament aa a "demon." What made the angel Moroni a "demon?" He doesn't really back up the claim. The Mormons carry the New Testament with them to church. They view the Book of Mormon as an extension of the New Testament. Many of their religious practices go back to the original temple buildings in the Old Testament. I think putting a group of people into a catergory of 'demonic" is dangerous in itself

  • Looks like Driscoll was Team Jacob.

  • listen close to dupes like driscoll to know what their real issue is with pop culture phenomenons like twilight: they dont care about the beliefs it promotes. they only worry that it might direct young impressionable minds away from the christian church. and if they stray away from the church they may become non believers as adults. and if that happens, they wont be dropping bills into the church collection plates. its not about morals and values. its about losing power, influence and money.

  • @leverage1976 What ? Do you know him personally ? Is this the first time you`ve seen him ? You think you`re so smart ! How can you say something about someone you don`t even know ? You`re saying this: I don`t even know this guy but surely he`s saying this about twilight because he wants money, power ... Shame on you !

  • @Jejjejfercak You have a very small window of intelligence. Mostly because youve been conditioned to accept the idiocy of guys like Driscoll because you assume they are in a position of spiritual authority, by virtue of your repeated brainwashings. You dont know Jesus. You dont know God. You dont know the origins of the universe. You only think you do, because youve attached yourself to an organized club of ignorance. And therefore, youre also ignorant of the dynamics of your own church.

  • @brianodeci08 Bravo. But dont expect someone who asks such simplistic questions 2start with, 2have anything other than a simpletons approach 2answering the imposing questions of creation &death. Religion provides a succinct schematic 4the willfully ignorant person, as 2how 2quickly &confidently answer these questions. Even though a rational person knows they are essentially unanswerable, other than thru the slow, methodical repetition of science. Which is why god-fearing ppl resent academia.

  • @utility4321 Interesting claim. Sure, there are a lot of emotional, clueless people who claim to be Christians. But many non-believers are just as guilty in their motive behind rejecting Jesus, so don't act as if it's one-sided.

Also, science is not all-inclusive, and cannot be applied to morality. To relate science to this issue as you did is to compare apples with oranges, your context is off. Attempting to insult one's education on this is cowardly deflection is the real issues.

  • @Falkon85 I have no idea what any of that means, Other than, you should seriously consider taking some logic and writing classes at your local college. Youre all over the place. And your emotions and Christian belief systems have overlapped into the intellectual intent of your post. And that's being very generous even using the word 'intellectual', in any context pertaining to you. From all visible accounts, youre doing your fellow Christians no favors by throwing your hat into the discussion.

  • @utility4321 You have no idea what it means, then you do the same thing again. You're confusing intellect with common sense, street smart vs book smart. And there's integrity, since "smart" is no guarantee of honest. Also, you're making false blanket statements. Though, some Christians might avoid "academia" because it means dealing with people like you, with assumptions and insults

You're still deflecting. Insulting me rather than addressing the issues I raised. That's too bad.

  • @Falkon85 You equated rejecting science with rejecting Jesus. That should have been your 1st clue that you were a little over your head here. And the whole book smarts vs common sense/integrity argument is another strawman. If you take the word of a fictional book over years of independently acquired science, and continue to believe it, even in the face of overwhelming evidence that says the bible is 100% wrong, then it is you who lacks integrity, both intellectually and common sense-wise.

  • @utility4321 If what you described were true, you'd be right. But it's the opposite. The Bible is THE best supported ancient text, and more things in it are being confirmed as time goes on. Honest critics confirm these things. Which means you are either very misinformed and need to check your sources, or are lying. Whichever it is, you're absolutely wrong.

For whatever reason, you're pissed at Christianity. I hope you find restoration and healing for that.

  • @Falkon85 U tried to pose faith as fact. And faith research as science. U failed in spades. End of story. Ur a Christian? Great. U want to proseletyze as many people who voluntarity enter into ur church? Go for it. But trying to teach the Earth is only 4500 years old, Noahs Ark, man walked w/dinosaurs to schoolkids, is criminally-dishonest and ill-prepares them to compete as rational adults. U know this. Thats why ur so desperately trying to call me a liar. It moves the mirror away from you.

  • Comment removed

  • @brianodeci08 "Small window of intelligence". Insulting the intelligence of a Christian just means you're deflecting out of fear and desperation. The real issue is not intelligence, it's integrity. Taking Jesus seriously would mean facing things you don't want to, so you try to discredit it instead. You falsely portray the church and the beliefs, making it evident that your deeper issue is not with the facts. It's about your feelings. I wish you the best with that, buddy.

  • @leverage1976 look up Mme Blatavsky NWO - 'Externalisation of the Hierarchy' - She was a satanist eugenicist who started the Theosophical Society, - she channelled spirits known as 'the hierarchy' -- her goal ;to get the whole world following random spirits too & deny Jesus' existence in order to get people psychically wide open to spiritual attack, defenceless to their anti-Christ whom they wish to eventually rule us from Israel, Peter Joseph, a follower of Mme B, uses Zeitgeist to this end

  • the twilight books are fiction..kinda like the bible.

  • True that. So funny lol

  • Thank God Jesus wasn't American

  • @thethikboy Oh really? You should talk to Mitt Romney and the crazy Mormons. Jesus was American for at least a little bit. The garden of Eden was in Missouri and Zion is Utah. Yup..crazy dude.

  • I appreciate the comments. But I get the feeling the gentleman who was roundly embarrased here was the impetus. If that was your intention, rest assured his place as the defeated in the 'debate' is secure. The biggest problem is that emotion betrays your intellectual honesty. In earnest, you're all aware that you believe in something that is by definition, implausible at best, and scientifically impossible at worst. Make amends with that, before claiming generalities of faith, as your evidences.

  • @SouthOCmixdown : "believe in something that is by definition, implausible at best, and scientifically impossible at worst."

I agree, just like Noah's ark and people in the old testament living to be 900 years old.

  • @SouthOCmixdown Oh, so I guess you were there when the universe was created. I guess it was YOU who created the Heavens and the Earth, and all the stars and the planets, and you established the laws of the universe, etc, etc, etc. I guess you are the ALL KNOWING ONE! PLEASE, ALL KNOWING ONE, FORGIVE US ALL FOR BELIEVING THAT THERE IS A GOD WHO LOVES AND CARES FOR US! Jeez dude. I bet you say that Christians are judgemental, but look at what you're saying. You're just a self-righteous hater!

  • @IQ178 If there's a creator who desires goodness and light for his created ones, more power to us. If that's your belief, then you certainly have the market cornered on your own brand of spiritual security. If somebody believes that isn't the ideal belief system however and says so publically, as you may do in your own church(atheists dont gather in worship houses by definition), then I'm a bit confused as to your incredulousness. Now, what were you saying about self-righteousness again?

  • @SouthOCmixdown Man watev. It doesn't even matter. Just keep believing there isn't a God if that's what floats your boat.

  • @SouthOCmixdown Before anyone downplays the existence of God, especially when the truth of that debate is so crucial in the way one lives, they should do some research. My question for you is this: have you ever done any research to find out if God exists? If so, how did you do it? If not, do so as soon as possible. I am an American that went to Africa for five years and found out that witchcraft and other demonic forces exist. I also found God and his power erradicated their presence.

  • @XiphoidWielder Grand claims require grand evidence, What supernatural events did you see, that proved to you beyond a reasonable doubt, that you witnessed demonic events? And what events did you witness as proof of their eradication? Bear in mind much of Africa was once ruled by Euros wielding simple guns. To a person, had any group of Africans had witchcraft at their disposal, certainly they could have kept manmade armaments at bey and slowed colonialism. And yet, they could not. Curious.Yes?

  • @marks661man How DARE you ask such rational, detective style questions and harrang that poor god fearing man? DONT YOU KNOW? He saw DEMONS and WITCHES in Africa!! Just like Max Von Sydow in 'Excorcist II'!! He did RESEARCH!!This man has clearly been touched by the power of GOD and youre a right jerk for applying skepticism to his unbelievable claims! *lol rolling eyes*

  • @MissMetalMelissa LMAO

well>>> hey those are valid questions i think, in light of the claims hes making. i dont think im being unfair. in other news~ a man in Oklahoma who was awarded a free birthday meal from Dennys, now has iron clad proof that the diety of 'Moons Over My Hammy' is a real entity. he has gathered devoted followers who will worship MOMH accordingly. ha.

  • he dresses just like me!!! I can totally relate to him!!! REVOLUTIONARY!!!

  • @TheJacob315 yeah and he says "dude!" wow!!! he's so cool, I'm totally going to follow him bro!

  • @TheJacob315 yeah bro he should totally wear a robe. Because jeans are disingenuous

  • Excellent! Go Mark!

  • who watches this crap ?

  • Woman can't be cougars because Edward looks 16, and then the teenagers are nasty cuz he's 100+. You can't have it both ways!!! Clearly you're just twisting the story around in every way that makes it sound the nastiest. At least pick one consistent argument against twilight and stick to it for crying out loud.

  • I bet he hates fairy-tales too

  • @AmbitionzAzAWriter Agreed, Its pretty obvious....lets pray for the blind and deceived Mormons. We love yall...(I'm not being sarcastic)

  • She should rather be with Jesus! bahahah

  • it never said in genesis the forbidden fruit was an apple..

  • @Ripcurl4Life1 True...but it is about the symbolism.

  • @707TruthSeeker well yeah thats true but should someone really charge something just because it has a little symbolism?

  • If only the Twilight series was fiction......

  • Mark slightly misquotes Galatians... its not "if an angel or demon comes to you with a false gospel let them be eternally condemned"... its actually more pronounced..."But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!" Meaning even if Paul preached a false gospel or actually ANY gospel other than the one they originally presented them with. Only one gospel saves.

  • True Blood is better ;)

  • I find it interesting...the only comments marked as spam are the ones that offend the non-christian....

To be honest, I can't say either way if that's what twilight is about, but I do agree that how it's affected our culture is sick...

  • a bit of irony, his voice sounds a little like Penn Gillette ;-)

  • Twilight series is sick. I didn't see a movie but obviously it destroys families and distances people from God.

  • "These books are all part of a new genre."

Proof, if any were needed, that these people do not read.

  • amen pastor driscoll!! preach on!!!

  • heeee totally made up the Mormon thing. thats not the story at alll...God and Jesus Christ appeared to joseph Smith. Moroni later came. he has no authority to preach.he was not ordained by the laying on of hands and has made no covenants to God by the Priesthood authority of God. he is a man made religion. he is a false prophet. he has no fruits.

  • @utubedestroysmytime Yes, it's said that God and Jesus came to Joseph Smith, but only to tell him not to follow any denominational Christian churches because Joseph had previously prayed to God asking why there's so many denominations and which one was right. But then Mormons say that 3 years later an 'angel' came and chose him to translate the book of Mormon. Just because God and Jesus may have came to him before doesn't mean that Moroni wasn't a fallen angel.

  • If I took a 2000 year old tribesman, from any culture of that time, and transported him to today he would likely see everything as demonic. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Dumbass!

  • @reddkell Great Point...but I disagree with the name calling.

  • @707TruthSeeker Your prerogative. But, I have no problem calling dumbass on a dumbass. Especially after he calls the angel of a major American religion a "Moron". Even though I absolutely abhor said religion.

  • SMH..seen this so many times on youtube^^ take these christians out of their comfort zone with a captive audience of brainwashed kids, old ppl scared of dying or ex drug addicts\alcoholics who nod their head at every line read to them out of a fairytale book, and they become defenseless, stammering fools. put up a vid glorifying a lying, dim bulb like driscoll at your own risk. you will be challenged and in the case of this chain, leveled beyond recognition.

  • christians really getting shithammered in here. cant say i agree 100%. but i do know that mark driscoll is an unoriginal, newage revialist who makes money by teaching kids and adults to reignite hate and making people comfortable with it. so anyone who would upload a video about him is more than likely an ignorant a-hole too

  • @marks661man Mark displays what the Bible says on an issue. He calls people to love their enemies and sinners too. Be careful in what you say because you're doing the very thing you condemned in Mark.

  • @dec4dence U challenge me 2do WHAT?, u fable-teller? Refute 1thing from the bible? How bout cover 2cover? lol Guess uv never b4 heard the axiom> 'Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence'? See, UR the 1claiming 2know the ORIGINS of the UNIVERSE, based upon belief in a Buonarroti-drawn man in the sky. IM relying on incrimental, self-correcting SCIENCE, which continually reevaluates itself &strives towards FACTS, not shallow, agenda-driven 'TRUTHS'. Dude. Youre poleaxed. Just log off.

  • @dec4dence- You bring up DNA and the cosmos yet know nothing of it. Strand/Astrophysicists have all proven that intelligent design, from a single source, simply isnt possible or even plausible. Energy cant be destroyed or created. The only universe that could have been before our present one, was a simpler universe lacking vital, native-formed energy. Thats the reality. Your insistence on trying to make that fit your absurd Christian narrative, is what has brought you so much embarassment here.

  • @dec4dence I've succeeded in displaying how shallow your cerebral gas tank truly is, pushed your mind far beyond the limits it's equipped to endeavor, and shown you to be a generally intellectually dishonest, limited thinker. Considering all the empty bellowing you were doing about things you obviously know clearly nothing about, I'd say that's more than enough. You can keep chanting how I've proved nothing. But that cheap debate tactic in itself, exposes just how beaten you know you truly are.

  • Comment removed

  • @dec4dence Dont kid yourself. You're entirely incapable of 'tearing me a new one'. What you are capable of however, is making yourself look very foolish, in a very small window of time. You've also provided an accurate inventory to others of the strength of the braintrust of the Christian movement in general. Please continue to boast about how noble and put upon you are. In the face of what most realists can surmise about religious people, it makes you that much more latently comical.

  • @leverage1976 Of course I look foolish in your eyes. You hate me. Good for you. I have never once in my life claimed to be noble. What a retarded thing for you to say. You again assume you know anything about me and what I'm capable of. We've never met, little buddy. Keep smoking that reefer. I'll be right here, unchanged, and unimpressed.

  • @leverage1976

    @brianodeci08

Actually, I'm quite used to it now. Confronting a religious carnival barker with their logical demerits and watching them wilt is routine now. In fairness to this Driscoll guy, I actually agree with a few of his points on the cultural craze of Twilight, and its negative impact on youth. But it is completely divorced from the religious underpinnings Driscoll is wholly invested in. As for dec4dence, I'm sure he's found friendlier confines, to foist his folly upon.

  • @SouthOCmixdown- ha. complete ownage of that turd. so funny how they can talk all loud and proud and with conviction about their beliefs, until someone comes along that pulls back the curtain and shows them for the frauds they are. dont worry- im sure his last response to you will be he will "pray for you", like they all do, lol talk about a white flag}}

  • @SouthOCmixdown Ah leave him be. He knows he cant rebut what u presented. He will only keep retreating 2the safe high ground of unprovable superstition, then call it 'wisdom'. Thats the common tactic of any religious person in an unwinnable debate. I do find it hilarious that in 1 breath he cites the 'collusion' of all those hand written manuscripts, as 'proof' of the Bibles divinity. But when faced with the simple reality of what that collusion really means, he denies it ever even existed- xd.

  • @dec4dence What an utterly predictable response. In the face of historicity and the light of truth, your arguments fail and you immediately resort to spin and obfuscation in perfectly-practiced fashion. YOU do realize, that not only was collusion in this case entirely POSSIBLE, but intellectually REQUIRED in any real analysis. Also, your attempt to hide behind humble piety and mimimize my own credentials by talking about 'greater' people validating the Bible is laughable and irrelevant. >>

  • @SouthOCmixdown Hi! Just so you know, I'm a Christian. You fail to provide any source of evidence that the Bible is false. Just empty claims. Just so you know, in the Old Testament alone, there's 2500 prophecies (predicting future events) around 2100 of them came true. These were all written in detail. Some of them plainly happened in history and are happening as we speak. The Bible has a 100% accuracy rate. How is this possible? Only God can do it.

  • @raiderking22 Please provide some evidence for your claim of 2100 true prophecies. I will accept a rate of a mere 10%. So post evidence of 210 proven prophecies (btw, the bible is not an acceptable form of proof of itself) and I will abandon my atheism forever. Fail, and you will burn in hell forever for the sin of lying.

  • @reddkell First, The Dead Sea Scrolls defend the writings nd time of when the Old Testament was written. Second, Archaeological discoveries described in the bible were found like the temples described by the Apostle Paul. Thirdly, Prophecies came true for example, Israel breaking up as a nation (722 BC) then it became a nation again in 1948 thus fulfilling bible prophecy. As well as saying that nations will b forming against Israel, And every nation will grow weak against it, happening now.

  • Haha now that was funny. Love this guy

  • Comment removed

  • @mikhailpmironov Could we get a translation?

  • *sigh* it's things like this that have turned me away from Christianity...People so bound up in legalism that they find a fictional novel offensive. These theories will just isolate teenagers from listening to what you want to preach.

  • Not to mention that when they DO consummate their marriage she's bloody and bruised and can't remember it (rapey much?) and Cullen has all the characteristics of a homicidal stalker. Those books are evil by ANY intelligent analysis, Christian or non!

  • Aww he just ruined twilight for me!!...but i see what he's saying, it is spiritual

  • Just hang in there, Just hang in there.

    Classic

  • Lets just thank the lord Twilight isnt real, vampires and all the other things do NOT exist. Its not against God to read and enjoy these books, its not reality its just fantasy, dont take it so seriously!

  • I'm not even Mormon and I know he quoted that wrong.

    stopped at the first lie.

  • I wonder what he would say about Quantum Physics, Multiverse theory, etc.

  • Wow. Has this guy ever heard of metaphor? Oh yeah- he believes the bible literally. So, no. It's funny to me to hear these dismissals of genres of literature and cultural memes from a guy who defends a religion that promotes human sacrifice.

  • @drumrnva Jesus is equal with God, "one" with God, if Jesus was merely human, you'd be right about human sacrifice. But Jesus was God and Man. Jesus laid his life willingly, no one took it from Him. John 10:18 "No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord." - Jesus

  • @logtosser66 Ah...so, commenting on these purely theoretical distinctions about mythical beings makes it ok. How convenient. This distinction justifies everything! I change my mind completely! j/k ;)

  • @dec4dence and just to piggy back, Jesus was God in human form, he put aside his deity so that he could walk the earth as a man, and deal with the same temptation as all humans do so that he could prove that walking the path that God has set for us is not only possible but done through him. His sacrifice was not the backup plan to save humanity, it was going to happen from the moment eve ate the fruit. Being that he conquered death in 3 days and is THE LORD, his wasn't a "human sacrifice"

  • @drumrnva

It's true, people mock what they don't understand.

You're comment makes no sense to us! It's stemming off a cliff of dissidence. It's funny to you because you're the only one inside the joke. It's like a stand-up comedian at an art exhibition. You're talking to Christians bud. It's like a pre-schooler trying to prove that he knows everything about quantum physics to an audience of university physics students and professors. What are you doing here?

  • @Canlander7 Hm. I'd like to think I'm slightly above a pre-schooler. And while there are plenty of intelligent Christians, I'm not sure that the average believer is necessarily in the company of professors. What I'm doing here it trying to provide some counterpoint to Driscoll's ridiculous assertions. I want people to think, that's all. By the way, the "you're" is a contraction of "you are". The correct possessive form is "your". Cheers.

  • @drumrnva You're right about the "your" lol

Impressive, correcting a foreign English teacher at 12AM, Beijing time, mind you. :)

Anyway, it's late, so I'm not interested in chatting anymore.

    Cheers!

  • @drumrnva being a christian is not a religion but a way of life, and the bible was written by those who recieved clear direction from God or who clearly witnessed the accounts of God's work, so yes I do hope that he and every other christian takes the bible literally because if not, then whats the point of calling yourself a christian, its not like its fashionable to those who don't believe so who would the show be for?

  • @drumrnva I think that the common misconception is that we as believers give power to things that have no influence until we say it does, and then it becomes a problem, but if we just treat it like the plain and ultimately insignificant thing that it is then it will die out. But everyone loves to point the finger, casting stones and all that. I only serve God, everything else must submit to me, because God has given his children that authority. And you could have it to if you just believed. ^_^

  • @wondawomenluvsupaman In a way I agree with you--"if I just believed". Belief is a powerful psychological motivator. Over the years it has become more & more important to me to ask if what I believe is demonstrably true. I respect everyone's right to believe as they see fit. I just can't wrap my head around why anyone would believe scripture literally.

  • its genesis 3 but whatever

  • i freekin looovee Mark Driscoll.. Bring it on!!!

  • @stacyklim according to him you should onlylove jesus you sob! you shuld never love anything or enjoy anything other than jesus!!!!

  • @utubedestroysmytime I love JESUS! i enjoy the way Driscoll preaches. is that better?!

  • This has got to be the best argument against Twilight I have ever heard.

  • a 108 year old vampire ;D

  • I love it when Christians make fun of other religions for believing in stories from hundreds of years ago.

  • @dwrvid well I love it when people make comments on videos which are totally unrelated to the content of said videos.

  • >> I can assure you, in the larger scales of anthropologic, historical and even hard theological study, the Bible has been ROUNDLY disproven, by multiple people who have credentials you only wish could be stripped as easily as those in your faith did not even 500 years ago. And it's no surprise as to why. Their research proves what any neophyte can see from a distance~ The Christian religion was a economic, political and social blueprint, strategically placed by its authors, and nothing more.

  • @dec4dence Im sure youre totally unaware it. But both you, and your biblical worldview arguments have been completely deposed here, and in the larger general debate. Youre in no position to be asking any questions, especially those as shallow and baseless as the ones you pose. The onus is on you to prove the god of the bible exists. In 2000 years Christians have been completely unable to do so. Therefore, any rational person will conclude unequivocably~ Christianity is 100% FALSE. End of story.

  • @dec4dence U mean like u said no other book in history is more validated than the bible? 'Period'.? U quickly got ur ass handed to u on THAT one. U Christers are so transparent & hypocritical its almost tragic. &Why are u talking like Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars now? lol "Your feeble attempts.." U need 2take a nap &rethink ur life dude. Uv clearly never had ur BS called out b4, &now ur in damage control mode. Get used 2it. Nobody is scared of ur BS religion anymore, or charlatans like u..

  • @dec4dence Your funny..I think deep down inside most Atheist believe but just cant stand the fact that they are not in total control and there is an Higher power. If someone kid napped you and said " I'm going to kill you in five minutes, make peace with your maker. I promise you would defiantly seek God. Not the universe not budda not john smith. You would be calling on the name of Jesus..and he would except you even after all the slander.

  • @707TruthSeeker I can promise you that you are wrong. No matter what you "think", if that's what you call it. The vast majority of atheists maintain their lack of belief in the face of death. See Christopher Hitchens. Just because you are a coward, do not displace your fear on the rest of us.

  • @utility4321 I know this was a month ago, but you know that Mark Driscoll is probably not going see this comment. P.S. It's "unequivocally".

  • @dec4dence how about how the Bible claims spiders are the same as insects? how it calls non-mammels mammels? how it's who etymology and classification is wrong? hell, the Bible says LOBSTER are insects [and they aren't - they're part of the same family spiders are]. also, at one point the Bible claims pie=3. not 3.1415... but 3 EVEN.

there are tons and tons of inaccuracies in the Bible. why? well, it may have been INSPIRED by God, but it was written by *people* - fallible people.

  • @SouthOCmixdown Poppycock

  • @RasheemH What specifically is he wrong about? That's what I thought. NONE of it. Deal with the fact you believe in a fairytale, and stop trying to push it on the rest of us rational, free-thinking humans who desire knowledge, not fear and worthless rituals.

  • @brianodeci08 Everything :D

  • @SouthOCmixdown it is unfortunate that godless men have used "the gospel" to gain economic, and political power. however the gospel is not a contrived work for social engineering the masses. Jesus repeatedly told all his followers to sell all there possessions and give it to the poor Mathew 19, 16-21. to only give to governments what there owed Luke 20, 20-26. so what type of dictator would want that? the bible was not engineered to control people..

  • @SouthOCmixdown Not true and I have very good credentials. The has has been proven true and it's teachings are the source of very good thing in our culture.

  • @SouthOCmixdown Yes Religion is man made traditions and a lot of bad stuff comes from it..even today. I think you are looking to disprove instead of seeking the real truth. There is a reason why Christianity is so attacked world wide. If you are really interested in the truth be a little more open in your seeking.
