I just got one of these and love it...The hight point scope is kinda crappy,but once you get it dialed in it shoots pretty consistent. I'm getting 0.5 to 1" groups at 15 yards with gammo master point .45g lead pellets! Can't wait to try it at 100yds with the PBA pellets. Noisy squirrels are no longer safe in my neighborhood!
Trust me, if you moved to the South, you'd probably get sick of country music in no time flat. I did. Liked it when I lived in NY and it was a novelty. Hate it now that every other station on the dial plays it. LOL
BTW, the way you mixed the audio makes it hard to hear what you're saying.
Have you tried the artillery hold some recommend for spring-piston guns?
hey i have been target shooting for a couple years now and i noticed that your trigger pull is a while quick. when you shoot, just maybe try to keep it slow and steady in more of a squeezing motion. just a heads up if you want it or not :) fun shootin!
Bought this gun, had it for it for about 4 months and slowly it started to get less and less accurate, broke the barrel to load a pellet and it snapped back up which cause the stock to break at the hand grip and the area of the breach. All in all I think it's a good gun, just would reccomend the Sythetic stock version, or the Ruger Blackhawk. That's just me, maybe I got the lemon of the group but the 4 months it lasted was good, easily killed gohphers and squirrels from a distance.

I bought this gun about two years ago it was great except the trigger, I advise you to get the GRT III trigger. You'll see that it improves the grouping of this gun. Nice review btw.

@mikenyesi123 yeah i like the gamo shadow its nice but yea if u wanna get the crosman i think at most its 120 so its not bad, its a great gun made out of nice wood. you can probably get it at your sportingoods store, i got mine at Dick's sporting goods but you could also probably go to bass pro or cabelas.

If you hold the rifle lighter you will get much better accuracy... spring air guns require very light hold. If you try to stop the requill of the gun it will not be as accurate. try laying the gun on your open hand and then shooting works better =) Cheers.

idk what you mean squeezing and jerking are the same thing, in the video i am not jerking i have the right sqeeuze i just blink when i shoot. i have corrected that. pulling is for shotguns one fluent motion, but squeezing the trigger is exactly wat im doing in this video.
What I mean is that you are supposed to pull the trigger slowly and let the gun shoot itself when you have the sights on your target. If you do this, you keep the gun aimed during the shot. When you jerk the trigger (in other words, you know when the gun is going to shoot), you make the gun move a little and your aim is off.
im not sure bout pellet guns tho because ive only shot one like twice and im lookin to buy one for squirrel hunting what brand pellet rifel do you recommend? and do you know the minimum fps i could use to take down a squirrel at like maybe 10 or 15 yds?
get a gamo whisper or if you wanna go a bit cheaper go with the quest. there both great pellet guns...i use gold gamo pba pellets which up the fps on a pellet gun there great and go right through chipmunks but also kills a squirrel cleanly. shoot a chipmunk in the spine and their dead.

hmm.... nice gun. but i'm watching you shoot and it looks like you're flinching. you need to hold the gun looser. spring guns like to be held loosely, and i mean really loosely. don't drill it into your shoulder like a deer rifle. just let it float in your open palm on the forend, and don't grip the trigger guard too hard, and shoot like this for every shot. this'll help your groups down range, and it also helps with the "flinch". follow through is everything. it's important not to flinch.
Hey im getting the same gun but here in canada we are not aloud to have a bb/pellet real gun above 500fps so they modify them but il just buy allot of pba pellets idc mutch i shot it in store its actially verry loud and heavy but realy realistic and cool!!!!

why do you like the iron sights more than a scope. For your short range there id rather iron but for shots 50 feet away would you rather a scope? why or whynot?

get a gamo whisper or if you wanna go a bit cheaper go with the quest. there both great pellet guns...i use gold gamo pba pellets which up the fps on a pellet gun there great and go right through chipmunks but also kills a squirrel cleanly. shoot a chipmunk in the spine and their dead.

thanx :D there aint too many chipmunks round here i dont think there are any i live in Southwest MO and I just moved here from a ranch in AR and we bought city property and a farm i go to about every weekend and i NEED something to shoot during the week in the city so i dont lose my mind! once again thanx XD

ive killed a crow a rabbit and not a racoon, this gun like every other pellet gun can probably even kill a human if placed properly. a gun is a gun and has enough power to do anything

hmm.... nice gun. but i'm watching you shoot and it looks like you're flinching. you need to hold the gun looser. spring guns like to be held loosely, and i mean really loosely. don't drill it into your shoulder like a deer rifle. just let it float in your open palm on the forend, and don't grip the trigger guard too hard, and shoot like this for every shot. this'll help your groups down range, and it also helps with the "flinch". follow through is everything. it's important not to flinch.

Hey im getting the same gun but here in canada we are not aloud to have a bb/pellet real gun above 500fps so they modify them but il just buy allot of pba pellets idc mutch i shot it in store its actially verry loud and heavy but realy realistic and cool!!!!

Wow the quest sounds low... I sounds way lower than my whisper and they (power-wise) are about in the same category, and the quest is all wood too!!1 Damn not to mention it's half the price.....

i am looking to by a .177 rifle. i'm debating buying either the crossman quest or the phantom. i live in uk so powers limit 12lbs i think. both are selling for about 150 pound in my gun store. i do like the look of the bsa supersport aswell, though that is a bit more expensive. any advice you could give me helping to choose or any information would be appreciated.

its not that he regret it. its a good gun and all. its just that. well.. crossman is some way is stronger. dont know how but stronger. when i shoot stouff mine always makes bigger wholes than the phantom. and also what he didnt like is that the phantom has a little plastic on it. and the crossman is all pure wood stock.

the scope is a cheap piece of crap i recommend buying a new one. its not worth it for the parts.

why do you like the iron sights more than a scope. For your short range there id rather iron but for shots 50 feet away would you rather a scope? why or whynot?
