  • Do you still have resonators on?

  • Wow all that sound just from mufflers???? Car looks and sounds great!

  • Hey, maybe you can help me please, I have a 2011 GT Premium, and I'm looking for that better sound. How much did you pay for the two? Which company did you order from? Did you perform the install, or take it to the shop? How long, how much? Simple bolt-on? Is there DRONE at cruise? Also, how much estimated HP and Torque gain? And, if you add Cold Air Intake, how much more gain? Sorry for so many questions. Please let me know, thanks so much!

  • Very nice! Im thinking of getting the same

  • so what the best exhaust in your opinion?

  • I like this exhaust more than Borla.

  • What kind of response are you getting on the grabber blue? I ordered one just like yours, brembos and all, also got the 3.73 gear, earlier this week. It seems to be a love it or hate it color. It's a little offbeat but, it's a GT, so I think it's got the balls to back it up.

  • @bgpurser it get's a great response. I've yet to find someone who after seeing it in person doesn't love the grabber blue.

  • @caljoundi Cool. I didnt really like it at first, but it's just so different and really grew on me. Dealer said I may have it here by Christmas.....now I just have to decide what exhaust to upgrade to, stock just came off weak to me.

  • @caljoundi Where did you order these from? Are they authentic GT500 or "GT500 style" I LOVE the sound!

  • @Supraman7675 they are authentic GT500. I got them from American Muscle and highly recommend that place. Terrific service and great prices!

  • @caljoundi Thankyou very much this helps out a lot. Gorgeous car btw.

  • @Supraman7675 thanks very much!

  • @bgpurser i love the color. when i first got my 5.0 it was my daily driver, so i didn't want something that would draw a lot of attention. now i hardly have time to drive the car, so i wish i woulda got grabber blue. you're gonna love it.

  • @crixa1 The car just came in Saturday, and Ford was kind enough to add another $1000 rebate on Friday, bringing the total rebates to $3500 off. NICE. You are so right, I know for sure Grabber Blue was the right choice. I also had the dealership add the over the top, flat black racing stripes. The dealership acted like they never heard of black on gb, everybody does white, ya know. After the GM saw it, he said we're gonna a gb Shelby with black trim. Everybody loves the color, I wouldnt change it

  • This may have been asked but, did you only replace the stock GT mufflers with stock GT500 mufflers? I own a 10 model and have a lead on a set of 08 GT500 take offs with less then 1000 miles on them. Curious if mine will sound close to what you have?

  • Does your GT/CS front fascia have fog lights? Can't tell from the video.

  • Where did the spoiler come from?

  • Just perffect package you got there. Love the wheels, color and manual in GT trim. Now, maybe the glass roof option?

  • put an off road x and your set...

  • sounds good i added gt 500 axle backs to my 2011 5.0...more exhaust work to come for it

  • part number for that exhaust? thanks! sounds great

  • are these the same axle backs as in the Ford Racing Performance Package?

  • @chufa72 nope. those are borla

  • love the grabber blue color and the sound great car

  • beautiful stang. throw an o/r h pipe on there and it'll sound like a beast

  • Have you ever drove the 5.4L GT500 ? Im not sure what to buy, Next summer there is a GT500 coming out with 620hp, 5.8L TVS Supercharger, But for 60-Grand... For $39 I can get the following - Grabber Blue GT, California Style Package.(Better Leather, Carbon Fiber Interior, heated/power seats With the Shaker 1000 stereo, Side-window louvers,Mesh-Billet grill, rear deck-lid spoiler rear SVT Fascia and hood scoop ? ( Cut a hole in the hood to make it functional, and add a 2.9 Whipple SC ) Thanks

  • @pjwallington I've not driven the GT500. The specs for next year's GT500 aren't out yet but I think there's a good chance it will be a whipple supercharged 5.0. I don't see them going with a 5.8 for it.

  • @caljoundi Thats just what ive read.. But if I do buy the 5.0 GT CS, would you recommend GT500 Exaust, or something different ?

  • @caljoundi i agree ford has been working on a twin turbocharged 5.0 called the "roadrunner" which is slated for 2013 or 2014 model years. My dad retired from ford he has connections

  • @GoGoggansGo ... The "RoadRunner" is the code name Ford used for the Boss 302 engine.

  • @wilkinda65 you are right but the new gt500 will be an boss 302 with an supercharger or twin turbochargers ford has been quiet about its devolpment.

  • @caljoundi its confirmed to be a 5.8

  • @caljoundi I am from the future, and you are dead wrong.

  • @oubobcats27 dead wrong about what?

ps - any stock tips? Does Kim Kardashian ever find true love in the future?

  • @oubobcats27 This was supposed to post under your comment that is wrong. Which is, a 5.0 on the new supersnake?? Even back when you said that it was a longshot, but now it is absolutely the opposite, as it is coming out with the 5.8

  • @caljoundi Seeing this comment now is hilarious!

  • @pjwallington if you want the most bang for your buck get a gt, for coolness get the gt500

  • very nice. thanks for sharing.

I still cannot decide between those and the ford racing sport mufflers. are the gt500s any louder than stock? I always read that they are only deeper. therefore I am considering the ford racing also. DO you sometimes whish they were louder?

    Greetz

    David

  • @MustHaveMustangMan the GT500 exhaust is MUCH louder than stock. Too loud during a cold start-up if you ask me (it can wake the neighbours). When driving, if you're going easy they are just a little louder than stock but as soon as you put the pedal down a bit they are VERY loud

  • @caljoundi Thx for your comment. I finally ordered them. Now I am waiting for my Stang and the mufflers :))

    Keep enjoying your ride.

    Best wishes from Germany

    David

  • I have a 2012 GT. Still deciding on exhaust. I like your sound. It's not too "hey look at me". Do you still have the resonators? Nice ride bro.

  • @Tappedurassout thanks. yeah i still have the resonators

  • very ba sound!

change the exhausts to borla system!

  • @HamadHHAG Hey buddy I don't come to your home and tell you to trade your trailer for another mode. Believe it or not this exhaust sounds better than borla imo

  • @caljoundi or may be u only need 2 add few more modds!

  • @caljoundi Tell em man! Got the same mufflers and I think they sound awesome! Cant beat them for the price and they wont wake the neighbors!

  • @caljoundi He just has favorites vids, he doesn't even own a Coyote, nor probably has ever seen or heard both of them.

  • i have a 2010 gt500 i have been thinking of getting some type of exhaust i dont know what though.

  • So the GT500 axle back from a 10 or 11 GT500 will bolt right on to the 11 GT 5.0? Any mods needed @ all to make this work?

  • @dgrowsell

The mufflers are specific to the 2011 GT500 and those are the ones you need. The 2010 mufflers are different.

  • do you have foglights as well in the california front fascia?...and also nice color i saw one almost like yours and wow a definite attention grabber one can see that color from miles lol..

  • i love that color

  • Damn that sounds good

  • Is this the Ford Racing GT500 Axleback system? Love the sound, wondering what system to throw on mine.

  • hey you never did answer my question to turn off the daytime running lights and have just the fog lights on. Do u do the set up from the steering wheel or do u just put the light switch to a certain position? let me know asap.

    thanks

  • @stmhockey12 i keep the light switch in the auto position...love the RTR rims on your ride, btw!

  • Sorry, just to confirm, are these 2011 stock gt500 mufflers? And are the resonators still in place?

  • I have a 2011 5.0 too and I was wondering how you get just the fog lights running during the day time? Do you have to have the HID lights kit? if you could let me know that would be great. I've from Ontario also, live in pickering, check out my video if you want to see mine.

    thanks.

  • Hey, are you using the stock GT diffuser there? I ordered a 2012 and already bought a GT500 diffuser and mufflers. Now I found out that the '12s put the backup sensors in the diffuser. I'm hoping the mufflers still fit ok. Thanks

  • @Skyanide Yes this is the stock diffuser.

  • @caljoundi Thanks, cheers!

  • @caljoundi Thanks, Cheers!

  • @Skyanide they will, the stock diffuser can house muffler tips up to 4 inches in diameter...i believe

  • @ADD8oi

5 inches....maybe youd know that on your old 5.0 that you had????? because you were running 11's apprently N/A....hahahahhahah wouldnt you know what exhaust you have? hahahah

  • @ADD8oi

5 inches....maybe youd know that on your old 5.0 that you had????? because you were running 11's apprently N/A....hahahahhahah wouldnt you know what exhaust you have? haha

  • @ADD8oi

5 inches...wouldn't you know what exhaust you had on your old 5.0? i mean your 11 second N/A 11'? hahaha

  • super nice ride man

  • How do you get around the daytime running lights? Fog's only looks badass

    -Fellow Ontario 5.0 driver

  • @MakesSens that's the default daytime running lights setup, no mods necessary :)

  • It's actually in Toronto. I try my best to keep the paint clean by regularly washing and polishing it, plus I waxed it once in September, which helps.

  • excuse my rudeness but is this in ottawa...i see some familiar surroundings, but i obviously could be wrong...your paint looks immaculate, have you been doing any waxing, polishing etc..?

  • Sounds Good Chris.

How do ya like the sound compared the the old Z28?

    -Joey

  • @Grizzly3269 very good question! Honestly there's no easy answer, I find it a real apples and oranges comparison. The Z28 was way louder and had a very raw pushrod V8 sound that made you think the world was coming to an end. The Mustang is a more subdued, more refined sound. It all depends on what you want.

  • that would be perfect. and if you want it louder... electric cut-outs =D

  • nice pipes--now paint your garage walls :)

  • I have said it before but I will say it again, those mufflers should be on the GT from the factory!

  • @jmc6000 maybe for the 2012 or 2013 they would do it...

  • You weren't wrong when you said I would love it lol. Sounds amazing! Do you think some longtube headers and high flow cats would make it even deeper? Or just mess up the sound and make it to raspy?

    Im subbed lol

  • @Karnage542 good question, I'm not sure how headers and high flow cats would affect the sound, but I plan to keep it as is. The sound is just what I wanted.

  • @caljoundi I agree, its not to loud where you kill yourself after an hour drive and its not to quiet like the stock system. Its the perfect balance. Where did you buy yours from? Are you on any forums?

  • @Karnage542 I got it from Late Model Restoration for $270 + shipping. I am the forums at allfordmustang and themustangsource. Are you on either of those forums?

  • @caljoundi Yeah im in both. Same name except its 541 instead of 542. Thanks for the info, im gonna check it out.

  • @Karnage542 ah very cool, I'm on both as fossy207

  • @caljoundi Cool, ill keep an eye out for ya

  • thats sounds great ,Nicely done.
