@Mr66769 at the time (over a year and a half ago) there was some reason i wanted an echo. perhaps i thought it sounded cool or something like that. it gets annoying that everyone thinks i used it to cover something. what they need to realize is that if i made a bad enough mistake, the echo would have emphasized it big time. so i really don't get it

if for some reason i want to use reverb, i'll use reverb >____>

@moogisXmaximus6991 the mic i'm using in this video was about $150, which is a good price. in this video, the quality is bad but not because of my mic. it's because of the editing mistakes i made. go to my other videos to judge if you like my mic. It's a Samson G Track. as for a video camera, little digital cameras do just fine and the prices can be around $200 or more. just look into that model camera's quality and all that and watch reviews and example videos. some digicams will disappoint

I know that MortishaVSDupa speaks a truth about the standards that the media has for what women in the industry should look like, but you're right that it doesn't always apply to everyone. and if i ever go into the music industry, i want to be one of those exceptions. People like Imogen Heap, for example, are my inspiration. She has an edgy look, but she's not a sex icon and has immense talent and creativity. That's what I think should be in the media!

Ive loved Evanescence since before i can remember, and have heard numerous people say Amy Lee has one of the best female rock voices you can find in the industry,

and you sound so much like her. Which is an awesome talent, but when she goes into the high notes, you tend to stay in a girly soprano voice, maybe work on getting that edgy sound to your voice when you're singing rock songs.

You have a really good voice, but I don't think you know how to properly use a digital audio workstation. Try find out more about equalization, compression, etc. This will really make the worlds difference to the quality of your recordings. Hope this helps and keep up the good vocals!

Ure amazing... just when singing songs like this, move further away from the mic depending of the loudness of your voice.. im saying this because you were clipping (over loading) the mic's recording.... apart from that fix, you will also allow your mic to last longer :D.. Again, you really are amazing, it sounds like a home recording of a proffesional singer :)

Reverb covers singing flaws. Good singers generally don't use them, they don't crank it too high even if they do....

@escapersky go listen to other covers of mine when i don't use reverb and then make a judgement on my ability. i use reverb because i love the mysterious, magestic feel it adds to a song

@escapersky oh and forgot to say that reverb is not autotune. it doesn't correct bad intonation or messed up tone. the only difference is that now that bad intonation or messed up tone will be echoed. i'm replying out of respect. i don't want you to think i'm being hostile or anything, because i'm not. i just wanted to let you know that i truly use reverb cus i am in love with the way reverb sounds. but since my subscribers want me to so much, i'll post more things without reverb :)

I sang in various choirs before and thought i was pretty good at pitch cuz i'm better than most; but it's simply embarrassing when a conductor once told me to re-tune my violin in front of the orchestra that i was in even when it was only about 1/16 note off, which most ppl can't tell...
