I used this move in training, I did it, the guy went in for a takedown, I barely caught him and the second I landed it, the timer went. He almost fell over I rocked him that bad. Great move which has ease to knock people out if used correctly!

@Santana105 It's his opinion, get over it. Your opinion is that Gomi is the 2nd best LW of all time, in my opinion Gomi's overhyped because he beat lesser fighters in Pride. UFC has had better fighters than Pride and as for "prime" years, those are generally at the ages of 28-32, which is when Gomi started facing better competition and having trouble.

He fought lesser competition and that is obvious when he lost to top competitors like BJ Penn and Hansen in his so called "Prime". Btw your definition of prime seems to be when a fighter was winning the majority of his fights. It completely ignores the level of competition.

Like I said generally the ages of 28-32, exactly when Gomi fought better competition and had trouble. According to your definition I could go out and beat up some high school kids and then lose in an amateur competition and say "You should've seen me in my prime."

He deployed his kick too soon it made the move too round, he lost lots of power because of that since the power range is in about one feet in length and the kick is supposed to come out straight like a back kick and snap on the target. That is the modern Tae Kwon Do spin kick method. Being that tired I woulnd be able to pull it off myself so props to the man.
